My friend and I were vacationing in Ajman, UAE from July 26 to August 4 at the RAMADA Beach Hotel. Actually, I am not a fan of writing reviews or sharing my photos and videos on social networks (you won’t find me there, because I think it’s wrong to flaunt my personal life, that’s why it’s personal, but this is my vision). But what happened to me forces me to do it.
Let's start with the fact that we arrived in the morning, around 9 am, on July 26th. Despite the fact that the check-in was supposed to take place only at 14:00, we were given a room after 10:00 in the morning. We were given a bay view room instead of a city view room. So the hotel administration went to meet us without requiring additional payment.
Before the trip, I read a lot of reviews about the hotel and agencies, real and maybe false. But sometimes, by the style, manner and size of the text, you can understand where are false laudatory, and where are false negative reviews. One of the negative (and maybe more than one) was about Natalie Tours. I printed for myself, in my opinion, real reviews and I am very grateful to those tourists who share their impressions.

On the same day, a representative of Natalie Tours arrived at the hotel with an offer of excursions (we had a tour from this agency). We bought a sightseeing tour of Dubai, despite the negative reviews on the Internet. On the day of the tour, the driver came to pick us up at 13:00 instead of 13:30. Our time was indicated at 13:40, but we had to be ready 10 minutes before the indicated time. Not only did the driver arrive early (we had just sat down for dinner), he sent a waiter to fetch us to hurry us up. I went out and asked if we could finish our lunch, he said he was late and we had to go now. I saw people on the bus, and I decided that it was probably not good to make people wait, and without having dinner, we got on the bus. There was no guide, only the driver, who did not speak Russian.
And what do you think, before he could drive even five minutes, he declares (I speak English) that he left two tourists in the hotel (by the way, if they read this review, they can confirm this) and he needs to return for them to our same hotel!?
But this is not the end! We arrived in Dubai, we stopped at some parking lot, the driver left the bus without saying a word (I guess, not wanting to answer questions). First, he called someone, then went to chat with other drivers of such buses (by the way, we were one of the first to arrive). We waited, as it turned out, for a big bus, exactly 40 minutes, and maybe more, because I did not immediately time it!
I can’t say anything bad about the tour itself, everything was fine, except that we were promised, offering a ticket, to show the inside of the Burj Al Arab hotel from the inside, though only the lobby, emphasizing that other excursions do not provide this. They are only allowed to take photos outside. No one was going to let us inside, we were like everyone at the entrance, who was filming and who was not, and running into the bus from the heat.
Well, for "dessert": return! Vitaly, our guide, invited us to get off to transfer to our bus, which this time, for some reason, was in no hurry. Having roasted in the sun, and not having received an invitation from our guide, we, from the RAMADA hotel, got back into the sightseeing bus. Our guide was on the phone at that time, apparently with the driver. Again, he called us again, and we followed him directly to meet our bus, but alas... he was not there, and Vitaly was still on the phone. During the break, I came up and complained about their "highly professional service. " I hoped that but conveyed our opinion to his management. Finally, our long-awaited bus appeared. He was on the phone all the way from Dubai to the hotel and at the end he dropped us off on the other side of the street when he was supposed to drop us off at the door of the hotel.

Everyone who came to this hotel knows Veronica and her colleague (whose name I do not know). Their table is located opposite the reception desk. While we were waiting for check-in, Veronica, smiling sweetly, greeted us and began to introduce us to the location of the hotel. I thought she was a representative of a travel agency, because she said that we can contact her and her colleague with any questions. But in fact, they collect groups for shopping for fur coats and more. She constantly came up both at the hotel and at the sea, inviting us, although if we needed it, we would have already approached her ourselves. And this went on, until my friend offered her to "get off".
My friend and I came to relax, sunbathe and see the sights. We went to the beach every morning and evening, sometimes together, sometimes apart, which is quite natural. I usually went to the sea before breakfast, and then one day, I came from the sea early to have breakfast (breakfast until 10:30). Usually there is always a lot of space in the dining room, but this one was seated at tables in twos and threes, it was inconvenient for me to sit down to them, and when I saw that the young man was sitting alone and found out that the place was not occupied, I went to pour myself coffee. Sitting at the table, we almost simultaneously wished each other bon appetit. And if he had not spoken, this story would not have happened. He said that he had just arrived and asked me if I could tell him where to go and what to see. And I shared with him my experience about a trip to Dubai, saying that having bought an excursion from Natalie Tours, we honestly “fucked up” (I said so). He can repeat, if he wishes, our experience, or he can go to the right to Said and purchase an excursion from him. I also read about it online. All as one responded very positively about him. And we have seen this for ourselves. It is located in the MERMAID hotel. After our bad experience with ALPHA TOURS, we went to him. The young man made the most pleasant impression of a knowledgeable, educated (he has a higher linguistic education), a sincere person, who knows the Russian language very well. We bought one tour from him. One thing I want to say, the reviews do not lie. We went to the ocean. We are completely delighted with the organization and the excursion itself, and of course with the guide Abdulla. Abdullah knows and loves his history (Egypt) and the history of the UAE, has a great sense of humor, which means that he feels the Russian language, and not just speaks it (also a higher linguistic education). He never gets bored on tour.
So, our conversation with a young man was overheard (see above) and it turned out that I had committed a "crime! " Because before leaving, I asked him to tell Said that he had learned about him from me. I just wanted to express my gratitude to Said, which he fully deserves. And it spun!
So we are going to the beach, and we are meeting, colleague Veronica, and neither hello nor good morning, turning to me and shaking her finger like a delinquent student: “I know you are Patima, I heard you say your name. What, I came to beat off a ticket! (I didn’t even know such a word “beat off” - apparently this is slang, I won’t point fingers - whose). And all this by shouting and constantly shaking his finger. We were a little taken aback by this pressure. I tried to put in a word, but she continued to wave her accusatory pointing finger and threatened to complain about me to the hotel manager. Finally it dawned on me that she had overheard our conversation at breakfast. Just put yourself in my shoes. To say that this angered me is an understatement. Some kind of fur trader, for some reason after her attack I can’t call it otherwise, for some reason she thinks that she can shout at me, threaten me and also complain about me.

I will not go into details, but the story turned out to be almost a detective story. After the sea, I approached the manager (his name is Hamid) and told him about what happened, noting that the behavior of their employees (it turned out that they had nothing to do with the hotel, but just rent a table), but this does not relieve the hotel management of responsibility for their behavior) destroys the image of the hotel. He wrote it down and promised to sort it out. However, in the afternoon, I received a call from Natalie Tours, their representative Vadim, and said that they received a letter from the hotel, stating that I set people against their agency in favor of the above-mentioned young people from MERMAID and supposedly even receive a reward for this (I I still don’t know what was supposed to be for “services”) in order to reimburse their expenses for the tour. You know, at first I didn’t even know whether I should laugh or be indignant. At first, Vadim did not even want to listen to me. When I nevertheless managed to break through and state the facts, and not the conjectures of fur coat saleswomen, we must give him his due, he apologized to me on behalf of Natalie Tours. He asked me to call his superiors and repeat what I had told him. I said that I had a tour of only 9 nights, and I was not going to call anyone, because I did not feel guilty. Well, if Natalie Tours does not trust her employee, then this says a lot.
After talking with Vadim, I went down to the manager to find out who sent the letter. The manager said that he sent the letter to Natalie Tours because what happened had nothing to do with the hotel. Since it was about Natalie Tours, then she should figure it out. He said that he wrote down what he heard from me in a letter. The only complaint against me is that I gave my name during the conversation. I insisted on meeting with Raja Mansur, the general manager of the hotel, because I was getting bored. In the conversation, I noted that there were no complaints about the hotel, expressed gratitude for the excellent service, for the attentive attitude of the hotel staff. Both the food and the cleaning of the room, everything was up to the mark. Re-repeated history, which received such a development. She said that I don’t see anything criminal in that, she shared her opinion, which I have every right to. But these ladies, who rent a place in their hotel, discredit the image of the hotel with their unacceptable behavior. As a result, the manager apologized on behalf of the hotel and a fruit platter was brought to our room.
Do you think this is a happy ending? Nooo…
The next day, a call to the number. Again the representative of Natalie Tours, Alla.
After she was convinced that it was me, she attacked me with the accusation that, according to an official letter from the hotel manager, I gathered a group on the beach and, just think, organized a campaign against Natalie Tours. Until now, I don’t understand whose wild fantasy it is: the hotel or Natalie Tours. But if I have no complaints about the hotel, then who benefits from blaming me, right - Natalie Tours. I said that I was on vacation and was not going to waste time talking and hung up.

I went back to the hotel manager and reported the call, he was extremely surprised, because everything seemed to be decided. He promised to look into it and said that they would not call me again. And he kept his word. Also, in addition to apologies and fruit, Raja Mansur ordered us not to charge us for six hours. I already found out when I went to pay. We had to leave the room at 12:00, and our bus did not come until 18:40. So there are no complaints about the hotel, the management behaved with dignity.
