Our trip was planned for a month, and was almost on the verge of failure, until everything was decided - there were no tickets back for our company for 5 people. Since we chose the hotel on the advice of friends, the choice of a travel company depended only on who would buy tickets for us, thanks to Besttur, they organized everything and helped us. We read all the tips on this site, thanks to everyone who shares, I will also write about our adventures! So on the happy day of departure, we were a little nervous because of the weather, a week of fogs in Odessa and flights were canceled and delayed. And here we are on the plane, and half an hour later the sun cheered us up. Upon arrival, all procedures were completed, we were quickly met from the Natalie tour and the minibus took us to the hotel. First impression-ay, where are the people?? ? everyone moves only in cars and there are almost no people in the evening. We registered at the Yassat Gloria Apartment Hotel, asked for a higher floor, they gave us the 38th floor with a great view. Since there are Russian girls at the reception, and we have no problems with English, the settlement was quick, when communicating with all administrators. The first pleasant impression of the country was at the elevator, we tried to let one local resident through in a large crowd (we were later explained only the indigenous people have the right to dress like that), he politely with the words - Guests of our country are always the first, gave way to us in the elevator and went in last. Culture shock!! ! While we were sorting things out, it was too late to go to the city, there is a gas station near the hotel and there are a lot of shops. The money was changed at the airport upon arrival for 100 dollars, so that was enough for dinner. All night we fought with air conditioners until we found where they turn off, they buzz loudly and it’s cold to sleep with them.

So DAY 1!! ! In the morning we went to the subway, bought cards and changed money -there was a course of 3.65. Then we decided to go to Al Mamzar beach (we read the reviews here). We drove for 1 hour by metro, then 15 minutes by taxi, we arrived and were brutally upset, it was Wednesday and it was Women's Day. At the entrance, we bought an excursion to Abu Dhabi from the Aladdin agency, and went to sunbathe nearby on the free beach. You can only change clothes in the toilet, it is not very clean. A couple of hours was enough to blush, although we used a cream with spf 50, but the water was cool. It began to bake and we decided to go to the hotel. There was a problem - to get to the metro you need to catch a taxi, and there are few minivans in that direction, we fried for 20 minutes until we caught it, and we decided to take a taxi to the hotel, in time - we arrived in half an hour, the same for the money, there are 5 of us and it's beneficial. After the beach, we got prettier and after eating sandwiches, we went by subway to Dubai Mall. While we had time before going up to the Burj Khalifa, we started looking for a book with discounts, found it for 435 AMD. We ordered tickets for the tower at home via the Internet, cost 650 AMD for 5 pcs. Therefore, we approached the machine with a printed sheet and printed tickets, and for non-advanced users there is a long queue. About an hour after we were let in, we got to the observation deck, so I think that no one gets there in time. The elevator is something that lays the ears both when ascending and descending. You have to go around the observation platform in a circle to see all the beauty of the city from above. We got up, it was already getting dark, while we were walking, the performance of fountains began, the beauty is indescribable. We did not want to leave, but everyone was hungry and we went to the Dubai Mall in search of a cafe. On the Internet, we found reviews of a cafe on the 3rd floor, came, and there was a queue for an appointment, we waited almost an hour to go in, hungry and angry. But it was worth it, the fountain show continued and we were sitting right opposite, I forgot the name of the cafe. It was delicious, fun, beautiful, but we still had tickets to the Aquarium, and it was already around 23, and we had to hurry. The tickets were already bought with the vouchers from the book, i. e. 2 tickets for free for 5 people - good savings!! ! Impressions from the aquarium are super, the very last ones left almost at half past one at night. By the time we got to the hotel and calmed down, it was 2 am, so the first day in Dubai passed so actively!
