A small hotel in the mountains (22 rooms) at an altitude of 1500m above sea level. Located approx. 700m from the ski lift, which can be reached in 2 ways: either by car (the hotel has free parking) or on skis - 100m from the hotel, an inclined path begins towards the ski lift. Skis need to be brought to this place. Back - the same sloping path towards the hotel and further on foot. It's not tiring. The hotel is decorated very nicely, traditionally for Austria, without Turkish gold and chic - wood, cone and straw decorations. Very cute and natural. An excellent cozy common room (like a library, TV, tables, easy chairs).
The highlight of the hotel is that it is built on a cliff and the view that opens from the windows is excellent, beautiful and breathtaking. You can see the valley between the mountains (Villach), with a river and lakes, with blue mountains in the distance, ringing the valley. In the evening, with a string of lights, the view is even more wonderful. Sometimes there is fog below and it looks as if the valley was covered with a duvet, and in the evening lights are visible through the blanket.
The food is very, very good (with the exception of dinners - little and something light, because everything is mostly on the mountain and almost no one ever dine - sandwiches, sometimes meat sausages, salads). Dinners are absolutely excellent. The hotel accepts waiter service. Meals are brought on time and they are decorated like in 3 * Michelin restaurants. Tasty. Too plentiful (due to the number of meal changes - appetizers, soup, main course, dessert). The soups are absolutely amazing.

There is a small swimming pool, three steam rooms (why so many for 22 rooms?? ), one of which is a wet aroma sauna (mmm. . . ). Free tanning capsule. A soundproof door leads to the saunas, there is also a relaxation area and doors to the street (for those who like to rub themselves with snow after the sauna).
In general, I really liked it. We traveled in a big company, in the evenings we got together. If you go alone and without a car, then in the evenings, apart from the above, after dinner you will have absolutely nothing to do (you can only get down by taxi, 40 euros one way). Perhaps this is the only possible minus.
