Hotel Rothmans***
Good afternoon, we arrived in Bulgaria on December 30.2012 at 10 pm, we were met by the Alfa Service carrier, so to speak, and all bus passengers (80 people) were taken to hotels, the first impression was not very good, since we arrived late and were tired of the road , upon arrival at the hotel, everything suited us, the hotel is not big, quiet, clean, in principle, this was enough, bedding and towels were changed once in 7 days, there is nothing in the rooms except a TV, bed, wardrobe, one Russian channel works as for breakfast then we ate eggs, everything was the same to horror, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and so every day, the hotel itself is located near the center but it takes 20-30 minutes to go to the ski lift.
In Bansko, everything is for tourists, there are a lot of restaurants, souvenir shops. The restaurants have very large portions of food, so my advice is to take a dish for 2, friendly waiters, beckoning from the street)).
Skiing - we went once in the morning to ski longer, but we spent more time in line, so then we went at lunch, climbed calmly and there were no problems.
And now I’ll move on to the worst thing - the road and our bus !!!!
the departure of the bus was from Kyiv arrived in Odessa 2.5 hours later, i. e. we waited for him outside in the cold, well, this is half the trouble, customs - and there were a lot of them, our drivers were very bad, they did nothing at customs except smoke, luggage was lying everywhere even inside in the cabin, seats without numbering, everyone sat down as they wanted, although the seat numbers were indicated in the vouchers, they also smoked in the cabin, but the whole cabin breathed this Bulgarian tobacco, they didn’t answer questions, they landed them in the toilet in the garbage dumps where there were worms - it was really bad !!!!
returned to Odessa on 01/06/2013. the departure of the bus was supposed to be at 14-00, but as it turned out we could not go without a 3rd driver, but "Alfa Service" probably forgot for the bus they did not prepare the driver and we waited 5 hours for him to arrive from Varna, so we left at 7 in the evening, there was a lot of indignation of the passengers because they did not explain to us the reason for such a delay ! ! After waiting for two hours, a representative of "Alfa Service" arrived and explained to us the reason, although it is strange that we were made to wait 5 hours due to the negligence of the carrier. "Alfa Service" surprised everyone very much, we returned to Odessa at 18-00 on 01/07/2013 and on the way we spent 30 hours there and 30 hours back, very nice)))) .
I do not advise you to go by bus, it is better to pay extra and buy a plane ticket!! !
