Good afternoon!

In July 2013, my five-year-old daughter and 75-year-old mother and I were vacationing in the Bulgarian resort of Duni. I liked everything very much, low bow for your work at all levels, which made our vacation unforgettable. Except for one incident that happened during the holidays.

The ticket was purchased from the Balkan Express tour operator with Ingosstrakh insurance. One evening, my daughter began to have a fever. I called the insurance agent who told us to wait for the doctor. After 15 minutes, a doctor calls from the checkpoint, which was located about a kilometer from our building and says that he is not allowed into the territory of the hotel complex. Explaining this by the fact that Duni has its own doctor (whose service, of course, is paid for me). I started calling Moscow, a travel agency, an insurance agent.

Insurance agent Lilya said that I had to bring a sick child to the barrier of the checkpoint, because the contract did not state that medical services should be provided in a hotel room.

Meanwhile, a strong cold wind arose, and a thunderstorm began. And my daughter's temperature rose to 39.3.

As a result of negotiations and my prayer, the local Duni doctor Filipp Filippov called us in the room. He also offered to bring a sick child to the honey. center, (which is located on the territory of another hotel, approximately near the checkpoint). I said that I would not be able to do this, firstly, physically, and secondly, in order to avoid complications of the disease, because my daughter has a preconvulsive condition, and there is a thunderstorm outside. He agreed to come.

When he came, I politely said that you can wash your hands here, and wipe it on this towel.

And this drove him literally into a rage.

He grabbed a spatula from his bag and started shouting in my face: “You see that it says “Sterile” here! ” ! ! My hands are cleaner than your mouth! Then he angrily threw the spatulas at the wall. He began to shout (I quote): “Where did you just come from! There is no money, but there are many requests! Sheeps! ". I say, "We have health insurance. " “Go to the toilet with this insurance! ' was his reply. He was shaking with anger, he jumped out onto the balcony to calm down. He behaved extremely inappropriately. He was not shy about another witness - my mother. I was very scared, I was in shock. I realized that I became a hostage of the situation.

After calming down a little, he examined the child. He said that his daughter had purulent tonsillitis (by the way, the diagnosis was not confirmed later). He left an ampoule with an antipyretic, said that Augmentin was needed and, I wonder where I would get it. I asked: “Can I buy it from you? ". “We don’t have a pharmacy, ” he said and left.

I was helped by good people who took me to Sozopol, where I bought the necessary medicine.

I couldn't write about it earlier because of the shock I experienced. But I consider it my duty to warn the administration of Duni and vacationers so that the nightmare that we experienced does not happen again.

I ask the administration of Duni to more carefully select medical personnel to serve vacationers and resolve the issue of medical care under medical insurance, or at least write clearly in the contract that vacationers are not served on the territory of the hotel complex under medical insurance.

Sincerely, Ivanova Vera Germanovna.
