As for the dangers, probably, the Ukrainian forum users will say better. The specificity is that if there are male Russians among the vacationers, they may not be allowed through the Ukrainian border, there were precedents. Plus, the quality of the road must also be taken into account, the reviews were very bad here a couple of years ago from the Ukrainians themselves.

through Donetsk or Lugansk, it is dangerous. there the Russian war attacked Ukraine. The rest of the territory is not more dangerous than Moscow, but the roads are not European. there are 2 ways: Kharkov-Dnipro-Odessa-Reni-Romania-Constanta-Vama Veche Bulgaria and Kharkov-Poltava-Kiev-Zhytomyr-Vinnitsa-Khmelnitsky-Chernivtsi-Porubne-Roman ia-Constanta-Vama Veche-Bulgaria.1 option is closer, but the road is worse. Option 2 is longer, the roads are better.

ollennka do not invent fairy tales about - men will not be missed. If there are no violations, then there is no problem. or better seen from Barnaul?
аватар wwadim_i
it is for such fakes from the Russians that hostilities take place in the Donbass.

Whether you like it or not, both options involve two overnight stays. I would advise option 1, there is also something to see in Romania. Take it easy, there are decent people here

No need to go through Ukraine. The ZhidoBanderites will be crucified at the behest of the American masters.

Thanks for the advice!
My husband and I have traveled twice over the past 3 years by invitation to Kirovograd (Kropyvnytskyi) and, indeed, there were no excesses. But here it is supposed to pass much more territorially, and I heard from many (including in Bulgaria) that many are robbed at the entrance to the Romanian border (and back). I really don't want to be in that kind of story. And going around the whole of Ukraine is a very long way out.
And the road is much worse according to the 1st option?

Svetlana, drive calmly by car and do not invent. Well, what could be dangerous? If you drive from Moscow, you will drive along the Moscow-Chernigov highway, you are far from hostilities and absolutely nothing threatens you. Yes, you should, of course, remember what you can and cannot carry across the border and try not to take hunting knives for slicing tomatoes - and everything will be fine. My godfathers prefer to travel through Chernivtsi, but if you have traveled, you can choose the route that suits you best. It’s absolutely safe to drive through Odessa and Chernivtsi, yes, you may be under close attention because of the car numbers, but try not to violate (I don’t think that someone directly specifically violates, violates and endangers their lives) and that’s all -still park the car during the night and paid parking (fools are everywhere) and everything will be fine. On the territory of Romania and Moldova, my friends usually do not stop, I don’t know why, but they try to spend the night either in Chernivtsi or Odessa and move on.

I travel every year from Kyiv by bus to Bulgaria-Sozopol 2 times - June and August. roads are being repaired thoroughly (maybe this will be an inconvenience) there is not even a hint about robbing. I did not suspect that there was such a danger. Is this the situation in Russia? . Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria are civilized countries. roads - Kyiv-Odessa autobahn. Kiev - Bila Tserkva 4+ there are areas for patching Bila Tserkva-Uman. Odessa - Reni 4+ in some places the old road. Romania 5 Autobahn Braila-Constanta. Bulgaria 4. two-way road to Sunny Beach. 2nd option Kyiv-Zhytomyr 5, Zhytomyr-Vinnitsa-5-, Vinnitsa-Khmelnitsky 4, Khmelnitsky-Chernivtsi 3. Chernivtsi-Porubne 4. Romania 4. canvas is normal, double-sided. This is on a 5 point scale.
Kharkiv-Poltava-Lubny-Kyiv road is good for 4, but longer. Kharkiv-Poltava-Kremenchug - Kropyvnytskyi is normal. Kropyvnytsky-Nikolaev killed. Nikolaev-Odessa is normal. these data are for 2017. On June 16, I am going according to the 2nd option.

If a Russian behaves like a normal person, does not wear T-shirts from the roads or coats of arms of the USSR, did not fight in eastern Ukraine - then he is safe!
I think it will be very tiring to travel by land from Moscow, I once went from Kharkov to Bulgaria via Kropyvnytskyi - horror. Fly airplanes.

https://goo.gl/maps/3RBFNAfvBQo, https://goo.gl/maps/WVaJ69Q8mCy , https://goo.gl/maps/HFCi2TBuCjB2 I would drive like this, and from Kyiv - to Mogilev Podolsky, all- then 80 km is not a very good road. Be prepared for questions like: "Why are the Russian military killing Ukrainians on their territory, and why did Russia invade Ukraine?" Answers such as "Hitler is kaput, he'll get tired, you'll be out" will not work, and your safety will depend on this. Last year, I asked this question to a middle-aged Russian woman in Kozeltse, she almost fainted from fright, I had to buy her coffee, calm her down and wish her a very quick return to Russia. There is no need to decorate your car with Ukrainian flags and symbols, some even put a sign “Fri pnkh” behind the glass, this only says that there are, to put it mildly, bad people inside. You will reach well on one of the proposed roads, Russian cars have already gone south, quite a lot. I join the advice about Romania - Brasov, Bran, Ryshnov, Sinai must be visited, at least at the beginning, at least at the end of the holiday.

That yes, the Benederites will be crucified for sure!???? today the way: dnieper-crooked horn-wide-aleksandrovka (great and small), nikolaev-odessa-reni. We met two cars with Russian numbers. While uncrucified. The journey took 12 hours. There are ideal plots, there are good ones
аватар ollennka
wwadim_i, You somehow keep yourself in your hands, or something. From Ukraine, the statistics on Russian citizens are definitely not clearer. There are real cases when Russians are not allowed to cross the border; these cases are more common among men of military age. This is a risk, and it is foolish not to take it into account.
аватар wwadim_i
"There are real cases when Russians are not allowed to cross the border; in men of military age, these cases are more frequent."
I agree if: double bass, drugs, weapons, Colorado symbols (Russian flags are not included in this list), Colorados are prohibited by law in Ukraine. do not violate the laws of Ukraine, be adequate people and hot Bulgaria with a warm sea will meet you with all its arms. Lucky road.
аватар ollennka
wwadim_i, as I understand it, you are terribly far from reality, and even express some kind of jargon. It was elementary that Russians were not allowed to enter Ukraine on a business trip, weapons and drugs had nothing to do with it.
аватар wwadim_i
illiteracy from Rashi and rushing not "to" Ukraine, but "to" Ukraine.
аватар Misterpipe
admin. Close the question, the flood begins .....
аватар ollennka
wwadim_i, You are exactly like from a parallel reality, no one has canceled the rules of the Russian language. I am not correcting any of the Ukrainians here when you write "to Ukraine" and "to miss someone", since these are the norms of the Ukrainian language, although Russian is terribly illiterate.

Thanks again to all who replied!
Apparently, I'll sit a little over the proposed routes and finally choose something.
As for officials (border guards or traffic police officers) when traveling earlier through the territory of Ukraine, then, indeed, a very polite treatment, no problems and a constant wish for a "happy road". From this point of view, I am not afraid of anything. The so-called non-state formations are alarming (or is it, again, rumors?)
In reply goga504. We flew to Bulgaria by plane more than once, but now it is necessary to go by car (to bring something to friends). Yes, and you want to see the country, but renting a car is an expensive pleasure.
As for the quality of the roads, I would not like to get to the sections, like after the bombing, which I visited 3 years ago, where the speed was less than walking (in the Sumy region), most of them had to go around the fields, because. The main road was completely impassable. I didn’t drive those roads anymore, maybe they fixed it now (I don’t know).
Thanks to all! I still hope for a speedy improvement in relations between our countries, so that we no longer need to ask such questions.
аватар Misterpipe
It's just that when crossing the border, you need to indicate exactly TRANSIT, and not "I want to go to Bulgaria."
аватар Igor_m
The quality of the roads is improving, it pleases. And, perhaps, not only in Bulgaria, but also in Den Haag, it will be possible for someone to ride to everyone's pleasure.
аватар Dimok2807
On yours, I would not dare to go through Ukraine. You can get in trouble, and ruin your vacation.
аватар Misterpipe
Dimok2807, this is your opinion. I am in St. Vlas now. I was driving through Chernivtsi on 16.06. There are a lot of cars on the Russian numbers. Nobody creates trouble for anyone. On the beach and shops there are only Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians. The road is normal. There are a couple of narrowings due to road repairs. The Romanians were detained for a long time at the border, about 4 hours. The transition from Romania to Bulgaria was fast.
