My vacation was in July 2010. The weather did not disappoint, so although there were two torrential short rains during the week, this did not affect the overall impression of the rest. By the way, to the previous comment: during the rain, the glass roof did not leak, the water brought from the street was promptly removed so that the floor was clean and not slippery, and where they did not have time, they put a sign "Caution - slippery floor". I think this is an important remark for a 3* Bulgarian hotel. And in general, to my surprise, the hotel really left the impression of a full-fledged three-star : )
The room was not really cleaned every day (unfortunately), in some incomprehensible order - either every day or every other day, apparently the staff did not have any specific cleaning schedule : ) But they cleaned it efficiently.
A notable drawback is the quality of the food. I only had breakfast (buffet - scrambled eggs, sometimes a banitsa, 2 types of sausage (meat) cuts, 2 types of cheese (regular and cheese), muesli / cereal, 2 jams, honey, etc. , the usual modest set) But . Those who had lunch and dinner spoke not very much about him, I can’t confirm or deny : (

What else matters? It’s really 10 minutes down to the sea (respectively, up from the sea : )) along a gentle descent along the road along which cars drive (that is, you need to be careful, because cars appear at high speed because of the turn - they are so used to it there).
Another plus is that the water in the pool circulated all the time, that is, as I understand it, it was constantly updated and clean. And yet it did not smell of chlorine or other disinfectants, there were no unpleasant sensations of tightness on the skin after water.
Minus - the balcony door of my room did not close, in the sense of a latch, I communicated this problem, it was fixed, I understood that someone looked at it, but they could not do anything. So it didn't close all week. I think if the question had been posed tougher, the problem would have been solved, but I used a safe, so I didn’t consider it a big problem.
As for the area: 20 minutes to Varna by bus, 40 minutes to Golden Sands on foot. There are a few pretty good eateries nearby.
PS In general, the hotel, it seemed to me, is well suited for young people and families, although, probably, if 70% of a certain contingent is selected, then the rest will not be interested in any hotel.
