There are many of them who speak Russian and are even collected by Russian groups, the prices are much lower and they can still do discounts. And about excursions, check with local guides there! You can also rent a car, but their gasoline is very expensive, if possible, better to go with a tour. And go to Varna by bus, take a walk, it's very close!

This time we were with small children. we went on our own (by bus 109 - 1.60 lev per person) to the neighboring resort of St. Helena and Constantine. We visited the monastery of the same name - we got to the end of the service. We took holy water in bottles (the holy spring is right under the altar!), We bought icons. it is a famous place of pilgrimage. In the church of the monastery, particles of famous relics9 of the relics of St. Valentine, particles of the life-giving Cross, etc.). and the monastery itself is very colorful - in the nat. Bulgarian style. We had lunch next to each other in a cafe and crossed the road through an underground passage and ended up in an eco-park. liked the rose garden. many people go to the park for picnics, many celebrate children's birthdays. picnic places can be ordered in advance (they are equipped) entrance, if I'm not mistaken - 2 levs for adults and 1 lion for a child. It turned out to be a wonderful trip! It was still possible to go to the pool with thermal water at 38-40 degrees at the resort. Paid entrance. But our kids couldn’t stand such a long excursion :)))) And they also took our four-year-old daughter to the zoo in Varna (price n. We got on a train (1 lev per person) and drove through the Primorsky Park to the amusement park.
