We decided to extend our stay in Minsk during our short stopover on the way from Klaipeda to Moscow, but there were no rooms at the Orbita Hotel where we stayed. We decided to extend our stay in Minsk during our short stopover on the way from Klaipeda to Moscow, but there were no rooms at the Orbita Hotel where we stayed. What to do, New Year's weekend is a hot time! By some miracle, we managed to find a place to sleep that was digestible in terms of cost and quality for us. It turned out to be the Arena Minsk hotel. According to the administrators, they managed to catch the last free number at that time.
Hotel "Arena Minsk" is a fairly new modern hotel. It is located on the very outskirts of the city, which is not very convenient for a classic tourist who came specifically to get to know Minsk. And there is no metro nearby, the nearest station "Avtozavodskaya" is 5 or 6 stops by trolleybus or bus, but they go often. The hotel is "sharpened" for events taking place in the sports and entertainment complex "Chizhovka-Arena". It is convenient to use it for transit travelers. By the way, one of the sights of the city, the Minsk Zoo, is not far away. Especially when traveling with children can be a useful outlet.
The interiors are strict and concise.
Amazed by the size of the room. Somehow such spacious "standards" did not come across in our practice. Or maybe it's end, so there are more meters left)). Well, oh well... Due to the peculiarity of the location of the room, another pleasant trifle, we had a bathroom with views. Original.
The room has everything you need. Of the small annoying moments - this is the lack of sockets by the beds (garbage, of course) and somewhat shabby plumbing. So far, I think it's been fixed. Not sockets, of course, but a jumping toilet and a falling shower head : ))
One of the few hotels where we did not take breakfast. Firstly, according to the reviews, they didn’t praise it, and secondly, we, oddly enough, were already tired of eating up in the mornings on this trip (and this was the fourth hotel on our way), we thought that a missed breakfast would not be a great tragedy in this life : )). And thirdly, if we really want to have a bite, then by that time so many different Belarusian and Lithuanian goodies had accumulated in the trunk of the car that there was absolutely no point in spending the extra $ 10 (in terms of Belarusian rubles), and for two it was already 20...
