I have long wanted to visit Switzerland and now it happened : -) Since there was not so much money (taking into account the current inflation, the fall of the hryvnia and the rise in the euro / dollar exchange rate, it can even be said a little), I chose a bus tour. I didn’t bother much with the choice of a travel agency, since I recently go on bus tours with SAKUMS (reasonable prices, sensible managers, professional drivers). And so about Switzerland: to say that it is expensive there is to say nothing, it is sooo expensive there (as for me, the Scandinavian countries will probably even be cheaper), but Switzerland is worth it. So if you are thinking - take more money and ask the guide / group leader to show the exchangers without a commission (you will not lose money when exchanging euros for francs and vice versa), or even better, take a card, but still stock up on cash)).

What to buy: chocolate (having tried Belgian and Swiss, I still haven’t decided which one will be tastier); cheese (but Swiss cheese will be tastier than Dutch cheese); a knife (there are as many of them and whatever you want and are designed for different purposes (fishing, hunting... ), before buying I recommend checking with the seller the purpose of the knife) and of course a watch (also for any wallet, for example, Tissot could be bought for 90 euros, although the sellers themselves in the stores did not recommend this brand; the Rolex store chain was in almost all the cities of Switzerland that we visited, but the prices there are not in the hundreds, but in the thousands and tens of thousands of euros : -( So if you don’t have enough for Rolex, still go to the store of this trade mark and ask the seller what other high-quality Swiss watch brand he could recommend, so that saving on the brand does not save on quality : -))

What to see: Rhine Falls (wear comfortable shoes, as near the waterfall you will have to climb a narrow staircase with a lot of people), Zurich and Geneva (very similar cities, but there are differences ; -)), Lausanne, Vevey, Montreux (beautiful embankments with a view of the snow-capped mountains. But for me, the Montreux embankment is the best! ), Lucerne (a cool town, we spent the night in a hotel there for 2 days), Bern (delicious ice cream and not a bad brewery).

I wrote about what we saw and what I advise you to see, and there you can still climb the mountains... but unfortunately we only spent 3 days in Switzerland, the rest of the days were spent on excursions in other countries: 2 days to Germany , 1 day to Austria, 1 day to Poland. It would be great if the number of days in Switzerland were increased, because there are so many interesting cities that you want to enjoy, get enough of, and not just see : -)

So travel, enjoy and have a nice holiday : -)!
