You can change easily at the hotel, the city is not cheaper. We once tried to change in the city, firstly, there is no English there and it’s out of the question, so they also asked for a passport. If you do not spend them at the hotel during the whole holiday (dinner, food on the beach, laundry, drink, etc. ), they will be returned to you. We also went to the center of Buddhism "Nanshan" ourselves, although it's hard, but you definitely need to see it. This center is the largest in Asia, located 55 km. west of the city of Sanya. The center is a landscape park with Buddhist temples. In one of the temples there is a statue of the Goddess of Mercy Kuan Yin (140 kg. ), made of pure gold, adorned with precious stones, standing on a jade stand. We got it like this: 100 + 120 - taxi ride back and forth, 150 + 150 - entrance tickets, 20 + 20 - for the tram that runs there, 40 + 40 - entrance to the temple, where the statue of the goddess of mercy Guan Yin. We also bought a mug with our photo for 30 yuan. Total 670 yuan, and 700 without all these tickets, except for the entrance. So think. And we were in the park "Edge of the World". Now about Sanya and what to buy: a town as a town, nothing special. I personally did not like the food in the city at all, it is much worse than in the hotel. We didn't really get any benefit. In the city, eat for 150-200 yuan, plus a taxi 80, here you have 280. And in a hotel, eat 300 for two. 20 yuan is not a difference (70 rubles). I do not consider those places where you can eat for both 23 yuan and 68 yuan. For me, this food can only fill the stomach. But when we went to the city, we dined there a couple of times. You can go to the Russian restaurant "Traktir", they cook Russian food. You can eat. And I recommend the restaurant "Versailles", very beautiful, well, the food is normal. Ask your tour operators for coupons with 10% discounts. In the restaurant "Peking Duck in Peking" - I advise you not to even go. Firstly, I was not well after eating, and in general the food was not of high quality. Pearls: it is everywhere, and everywhere real. At first I was afraid to buy on the beach, on the last day I bought a very beautiful pink pearl. But I advise you to first walk around, look, compare. Then buy. Bargain as best you can, soar us as best you can. For example, they write on the calculator for 850 yuan for pearls, you can buy it for 300-400 yuan from them, depending on how decent it looks. And all in the same spirit. And clothes and shoes. True, there is also an expensive shopping center where they are not traded. A good place is a shopping center near McDonald's, there are rows with souvenirs and pearls. The last moment: on the second day they took us on a sightseeing tour, well, respectively, there is tea, there is also a medical center, there is also a jewelry store.
