I'll start in order. "We rested" (namely in quotation marks) in this hotel from 25.06. 2017 to 04.07. 2017. I was with my little son (3.5 years old), nephew (9 years old) and my mother. I traveled a lot around the world and never left negative reviews about the hotel and the country in general, because I think you should not pay attention to some shortcomings (and they are in every hotel), but rather enjoy your vacation, new emotions, people, culture and history. But I can’t not write about this egregious, disgusting event, just as a cry from the heart and a warning to vacationers.
On the second day of our stay at the hotel, after 4 pm, we went to have an afternoon snack (drink tea with buns) in one of the restaurants. The mood is wonderful, the children are happy - they sing songs. Ahead of us on a narrow path, on both sides of which there is dense greenery, about 5 meters away is a cat. As many people know, there are a lot of cats in Cyprus, and hotels are no exception. Suddenly I noticed that this cat arched its back and moved back (at us); for some reason, the thought immediately flashed through me that it was from a snake, because we did not see dogs. At the same moment, I shifted my gaze to the greenery near the path. There was a huge black thick snake standing on its tail, about two meters high, which attacked the cat. They fought. The spectacle is the scariest thing I have ever seen in my life. From us - 4 meters. I turned to my mother, grabbed her (because

she was afraid that she would fall), grabbed her son (a thought flashed through my head - if only my son did not run to the cat), my nephew stood with my mother, holding her other hand, we turned around and ran back to the reception. When I ran there, the first thing I did was to sit my mother and children down and bring water. My mother was very pale and kept repeating that we should go home from here. Approaching the reception, I explained to an English-speaking friend about what had happened. He sent me to our Russian-speaking guide Biblio-Globus Anatoly Medinsky, who at that time was talking with tourists in the lobby. Approaching Anatoly, I asked him to come out to me (so as not to speak in front of all the tourists), urgently, Anatoly stood up unhappily and, grumbling, began to approach me. Here my nerves began to fail and I said in front of everyone that we had just seen.
Together with Anatoly, we approached the reception again; for some reason, an English-speaking comrade administrator buried himself in the computer (probably, he wanted to present a photo for identification), then asked: “Black? "What, is there another one? I asked. To which the friend replied…. . “We know she lives here! » An honest mother, why don’t you tell tourists? , there the children alone are allowed to walk quietly. Hotel area!!!! ! The maids, cleaning the room, leave the door open, and if it crawls into the room or bungalow !!!! ! The administrator advised not to provoke the snake, then it would not attack. Thank you for the kind words. And if not for the cat, which we paid attention to and stopped, it would have crawled out to our feet. What would happen next is hard to imagine; maybe four corpses, maybe all stutterers, I don't know. In general, this is the end.
So no one approached us in those minutes and in general for the whole rest, did not reassure; In the following days, I asked Anatoly what measures had been taken? He smiled and said, "None. " The next day, when we were walking from the beach, I noticed that a couple walking in front of us stopped, looked into the bushes and took a picture. Coming closer, I saw a fat black ball sleeping peacefully by the stairs leading from the beach to the hotel. I turned around and led my mother and children the other way to our room. I hasten to notice that the place where we saw the snake for the first time, and the place near the stairs are 200 meters away. That's it. Step over, comrade tourists, through the creeping pipe on the territory of the hotel and do not provoke it. Subsequently, we did not let the children go alone, we walked, looking around and being afraid, and in the evening (in the dark) we ran to the room, loudly stamping our feet in order to somehow frighten her away; coming into the room, looked into all the places, so as not to be taken by surprise.
Of course, at that moment I had time to get my camera and take a picture for proof, because the fight was for a long time, but, you know, it was not up to that. If I saw this spectacle from the balcony, no matter how disgusting it was, I would definitely take a picture on the camera so that no one went to this hotel for sure!!!!!!!

Well, and finally, the disadvantages of the hotel are a rotten staircase leading to the beach, from which nails stick out, and somewhere there are no boards. Hold the children and the elderly, you can screw up and the bones can not be counted. Slippery tiles, on which you go down to the sea or from your bungalow, because upstairs they wash their feet after the beach and the water flows down; cockroaches in the rooms (I killed two, small in size). The hotel pulls on the top three, no more.
