Review of The Savoy and Kyrenia
We had a great rest in Northern Cyprus in May 2011 at a resort that, unfortunately or fortunately, is not very popular now - Kyrenia. We chose a chic hotel, because we don’t save on vacation. Before choosing and booking something, we rummaged through a bunch of information on the net. There are few reviews, but conclusions about Northern Cyprus as a whole can be made.
I must say right away that choosing a hotel, we were not mistaken. We wanted to be in the center, but at the same time not deny ourselves the pleasure of sunbathing and swimming, if not in the sea, then at least in the pool. The hotel is located right in the city center. Inside, everything is very modern and chic - the hotel was built in 2009. Finishing in the style of the Ottoman Empire. We really liked the food, especially dinner, it was varied and they also gave very tasty ice cream, breakfasts are of course monotonous, but you can live! In the afternoon we went to restaurants and cafes. Fortunately, everything is close to the city center.
We went to the most famous restaurant in Cyprus, Niazi, where we ate meat that none of us had ever eaten in our lives. Prices - according to the lower Moscow bar. At the same time, the portions are twice as large, everything is tasty, fresh and natural. Everywhere, in the hotel, in restaurants, very kind and helpful staff.

After this tour, we already felt at home - very confident and free - as if we had lived here for a long time. Speaking of "lived". You really want to live in Northern Cyprus. And, as I understand it, many compatriots “saw out” the benefits of living on the island and emigrated. There are a lot of real estate offers on the island. Prices differ from Moscow like heaven and earth. Arriving, you will understand.
For the price of a Moscow kopeck piece or a three-ruble note, you can buy a luxury villa with a private pool and live happily ever after.
