prices in stores for products are quite real, for example, meat for barbecue - 2.3 euros / kg. only I ask you, do not burn the island when you fry the barbecue, they have special places for this. You can rent a car for 25 euros. for at least three days, with scooters - a problem in Ayia Napa, I took a scooter for 10 euros / day. I didn’t find it in Paphos for less than 25 euros, let them ride them themselves.
The sea in Cyprus is a separate issue, if you are told 50 meters from the sea, this does not mean anything, as I already wrote in Cyprus, the problem with entering the sea, you can contemplate the sea, but in the entrance with a foot, from our hotel it was a slow step 15 min. to the beach where it was not a bad beach, I also recommend Alykes Beach not far from the port in the very center, the water temperature is -28 degrees, in the port it is not much colder somewhere around 23-25, which is much nicer when it's hot, for romantics- The best views of Paphos and the sunset are Musa cafe, there is an observation deck.
