I don't think there is an easy option here. In order to spend relatively speaking 18 hours in a hotel, you have to pay in a regular hotel for 2 days, which kills the economic benefits of cheap tickets.
Airport hotels are designed for such options and they can take the cost of 1.5 days, but their rooms are always more expensive than in the city.
I think it's best to find a cheap hostel in Prague, for 20 dollars, where you can sleep, then leave your things, take a walk and, after dinner, still lie with a book. I would do that, but I'm not bothered by the atmosphere of the hostel, roughly speaking, and when someone snores nearby, but this does not suit everyone.
