Very cozy apartment hotel. Living here is much more interesting than in the expensive Legoland hotel. After all, all hotels in all countries are the same, and in Karolinelund you will live on a rural farm, feel the spirit of Denmark, breathe in the countryside air, walk through the fields. No hotel will offer you this! We rented a family apartment with a living room and two bedrooms: for parents (with a large bed) and for a child (with two smaller beds).

Very cozy apartment hotel. Living here is much more interesting than in the expensive Legoland hotel. After all, all hotels in all countries are the same, and in Karolinelund you will live on a rural farm, feel the spirit of Denmark, breathe in the countryside air, walk through the fields. No hotel will offer you this! We rented a family apartment with a living room and two bedrooms: for parents (with a large bed) and for a child (with two smaller beds). If desired, another child could be accommodated in the living room on the sofa. So for families with three children, the option is also suitable. As I understand it, the aparthotel also has large rooms for six adults - it is convenient and economical to come to such rooms with a group.
Furniture and surroundings with a rural flavor - you feel like visiting friends, and not in rented accommodation. The kitchen-living room has everything you need for relaxation (TV, DVD, reliable wifi reception) and cooking / eating (dishes, pots, pans, kettle, dishwasher and oven instead of a microwave). Toilet and shower in the apartment with excellent plumbing, everything is at a high level. The appearance of Karolinelund and its surroundings deserves special mention - nice, neat, exemplary pastoral landscapes. A walk around the farm left no less impression than the trip to Legoland, for which we came to Billund. For children in the courtyard there is a pleasant playground with a slide, swings, trampoline. And thanks again to the owners! Astrid is just a darling!
The disadvantages follow from the advantages. The hotel is located on the outskirts, NOT within walking distance of Legoland. However, for those who plan to rent a car or bike, the location is ideal - only 3 km from the amusement park and the center.
