My favorite Dahab!
I returned the other day from a magical, but so quickly flying vacation, spent in the South Sinai in the small coastal town of Dahab.
I first came here last year - it was an absolutely spontaneous decision, which I did not regret a bit: Dahab fascinated me. I am not an ardent fan of 5 * hotels, because. I just don't see the point in it. Our choice fell on Alaska Camp & Hotel - a pretty small hotel located in the immediate vicinity of the very "heart" of Dahab - Light House. We really liked it here - cozy, green and very clean! The rooms are simple, no frills, but at the same time there is everything you need - comfortable beds, shower room, air conditioning and a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains. The price is 100% consistent with the quality. Very friendly and helpful staff - they helped me organize transfers, as well as a wonderful quad bike safari and a trip to Santa Catarina - the oldest Orthodox convent. The hotel also gave us a 20% discount at the Yalla Bar & Restaurant, which we also really liked. A wonderful equipped beach with a convenient descent into the water, a relaxed atmosphere conducive to communication and acquaintance with travelers from all over the world - it is never empty and boring here! Special thanks to the cooks - they cook very tasty, the menu pleases with variety. If you happen to be in Dahab - do not pass by Yalla!
Vacation is over, everything is back to normal. And the thoughts about Dahab just don't want to leave my head : ) And I'm looking forward to the next vacation to return there again!! !
