I'll start my story with the fact that my husband and I were resting, this was not the first trip abroad and in Egypt we rested and previously only in Sharm. Deciding to celebrate my birthday in Egypt, the girl from the tour agency kindly suggested Mirage Aquapark (as it turned out, a nearby hotel) and Festival. To say that Festival is 5 * is to say nothing, but I will start in order.
The flight from Kyiv was very successful since the departure was early in the morning, at 4 am, and the flight back at 19:20, that is, we did not lose days, and we had 11 full days in order to "enjoy" the rest in Egypt .
We arrived at the hotel at about 10 am, a bunch of people came with us, everyone was told to wait until 2:00 pm, leaving our bags, we went to inspect the territory. The territory is well-groomed and large, you can not argue with these. Lots of pools, sun loungers enough, but they are in a terrible state. Unable to stand the wait until 14, we went to the reception at 12 and asked how things were with our room, the Arab kindly asked if I wanted to wait, I replied that I would very much like to check into the room and with a smile he gave me the key to our "wonderful" numbers. Since we have a club room, we were told to cross the road and we went to room 4429 on the 4th floor.

Entering the room, my husband and I were not surprised by what we saw, since our motto for this trip was not to pay attention to the room and just enjoy the sun and the sea. But it was not there. When I entered the room, I was not surprised by the terrible green washbasin, old furniture, dirty chairs on the balcony, but my surprise knew no bounds when I found DIRTY AND LEAKED TOWELS, and THE LACK OF HOT WATER in the tap. It was decided to go to the front desk and ask them to troubleshoot. I came up 2 times, and 2 times the cute guy said now I’m calling and now they will come to you and fix everything. Nothing has changed in 11 days.
On the 2nd day there was a meeting with Anex Tour. And then we realized that we had come to the wrong place. The guys promised everyone that they would fix all the problems in the rooms, that they would put stamps on the vouchers for leaving the city, but this was dug in only for those who would take excursions from them, and it was all in such an imperative tone that it was scary to think what would happen farther. They asked everyone to decide on excursions before 12 noon, my husband and I walked a little around the hotel, namely to the left, closer to Mirage Aquapark and found a girl, Ira, who had these excursions 2 times cheaper and there was no point in overpaying. We returned to AnexTour and said that we would not take excursions from them, for 30 minutes the guide almost threateningly said that if we did not take from them, we would not take from anyone else. That's how communication with AnexOm ended.
Then it was more fun. Let me tell you about the dining room. After reading reviews here, both good and bad, I can say this, you won’t stay hungry, but the quality of the food is simply terrible! The choice is large, BUT the vegetables are not fresh, the fruits were extremely rarely fresh, the quality of the food is very low! I can not say that there were not enough devices and there were long queues. There were always queues, if it was breakfast, my husband and I came at 7, and at 8, and at 9, there was always a queue. We didn’t have enough plates a couple of times, but at breakfast, taking a plate for porridge was already considered a feat : (
Sea. Ah, it's the sea. If my husband and I had not taken an excursion to the coral reefs, we would have thought that there are no reefs in Hurghada at all. The sea is very shallow, always muddy by lunchtime, and in the period from November 15-19 it is so cold that it cramped your feet in the water.

In the evenings there was animation, there is a Pandora nightclub. I can say one thing about alcohol - TAKE WITH YOUR DUTY FREE, because drinking this * crap is unrealistic, the only thing you can drink there is beer, and a gin and tonic at the bar in the lobby. And that's all.
The rooms were cleaned every day, maybe because they always left $ 1, but the beds were never changed and there were still a lot of mosquitoes and when we slept we felt ants crawling over us! I saw how they wash the hall and the carpet in front of the entrance to the main building and everything became clear to me - they pour soapy water and then drive with a rag for 5 minutes, and the carpet in front of the main entrance is sometimes turned from one side to the other.
We took 3 excursions. 1 was on my birthday on November 12 - a sea scuba trip, something like that. It was a lot of fun and enjoyed it a lot. On my birthday, I expected a congratulation from the hotel, but apparently they decided not to congratulate, my husband went to swear at the manager, at the reception, but we only heard promises. We wanted to go to their Asian restaurant for my birthday, but didn't know what to book 4 days in advance, so the numbers came up on 11, everything was busy at 12, and the nearest one was on the 13th at 20:30. The food in this Asian restaurant, which we later realized is exactly the same as in the dining room, the point, I think, in these restaurants is only that you buy alcohol from them if you wish. I don’t even want to write a lot about this restaurant, so I just advise you not to even go there, anyway, then you’ll go straight to the dining room)
We also went to Luxor. My husband liked it a little, but I didn't like it at all. Departure was at 3:40 in the morning, and even if you did not take an excursion from AnexTour, they will not give you any rations with you. We returned home after Luxor at 22:50, although it was said that we would return by 21 in order to have time for dinner.
The 3rd tour was a safari. The most complete, where there are cars and ATVs and Bedouins. I liked it very much, especially the guide Yana! Just a wonderful woman, everything was very interesting, indescribable emotions.

If it wasn’t for the excursions, I don’t know how it would have been possible to survive there for 11 days, because with such an attitude, with such food and with such a sea, halfway through the rest, one could safely pack a suitcase home!
In general, we were very dissatisfied with the hotel and do not recommend anyone to fly there, if you have the opportunity, run and choose another one. While relaxing in the hotel, we also heard from other people that their hotel did not suit them, and it seems to me that only those people who have not seen normal 5ok can put 5k, or the rest consisted of getting drunk at the bar.
