I would like to write something outstanding, but the annual trips and new hotels somehow merge in my memory, and if it were not for the reviews and photos, I would not be able to distinguish one hotel from another. I was asked by "beginners" if there is a difference between 5.4 and 3 and I find it difficult to answer. Those hotels that I choose (thanks to Turpravda) are generally on the same level: acceptable living conditions, similar food and generally leave a normal impression (unless, of course, you do not take into account the human factor that can ruin everything or vice versa). Vacationers are mainly from Ukraine and Belarus (who travel through Boryspil), there are few Arabs (hooray! ), Chinese flickered.
In general, I liked the hotel, although the hotel needs some updating, but work is underway, although they do not interfere with rest. The room has everything you need - a safe (with a complicated system of inclusions, but free of charge), a hairdryer, a "bath set - gel, shampoo, lotion. " Judging by the communication with the vacationers, we were settled immediately successfully - with a view of the pool and the sea, next to the restaurant and the reception. Although, this is not very important, since the territory is not large. I can’t give general conclusions on the number of rooms - here someone is lucky (maybe with a view of the wall or towards the mosque), but everything turned out great for us. Recommend to bring any plastic cards with you as your card key cuts off the electricity in the room if you leave and it's not in the wall. We stuck my bank card when someone needed to leave, and someone needed to stay and need electricity.
Cleaning on different floors is also carried out in different ways. We cleaned, if he had time, or if you hang a sign “need cleaning”. Why am I focusing on this, since it is the cleaner who brings water - a bottle on the “nose” of 650 ml. And if he did not appear, you are without water and you have to ask at the reception to bring it (no more than 4 bottles are allowed). By the way, local bottles have disgusting caps, they break and water spills on the tour. So if you are planning excursions, it is better to pour water into your bottles. So about cleaning, once I forgot to leave towels and for an hour I had to beg the reception to bring it, because after the beach you need to at least use a shower. They assured me that they had already brought it, but I assured me that it wasn’t - I’m still freezing in a bathing suit and I can’t take a shower, not because I don’t want to, but because I’m waiting for a towel (by the way, at the beginning there were problems with hot water, but when the hotel filled up, it was almost boiling water). In general, communication with some locals is like with those guys - “two from the casket”. And most importantly, we left a tip for the cleaner. Bestolku. But the porters of the "Vandolaru" rejoiced.

By the way, the exchange rate (1 dollar = 18.6 pounds) is very pleasant, because they stopped showing off and are happy with 1 dollar and do not extort more. In general, that distant time of the “vandollar”, which we almost did not find, has returned. Fresh on the beach - "vandollar", fruit packaging - too, and indeed a lot of things. In the city, prices are of course lower and not far from it (the hotel is located in a good place in the city - where not to go, shops and shops are everywhere). The fall in prices was reflected in the excursions. For example, on the beach, or at the representative of JoinUp, the Utopia boat trip cost $20 (snorkeling with free equipment (although $3 for a suit), fishing, island, lunch). Only, it's better to take it on the beach - they are taken directly from the pier and returned there. We were taken for 40 km. from the city and severely seasick. For 3 excursions from the guide, a discount is given (for example, the same "Utopia" is already for $ 15, if everything is paid on the first day). Regarding the representatives of the tour operator who are sitting at the hotel. Many complained in the reviews about his rudeness (Muhammad). I would not say so unambiguously, but the fact that he is a “slippery” type and I would not trust him (and who is there to trust then? ), I can say that almost all issues were settled with him. Money (hryvnia), he really didn’t help me change although he promised, but he quickly resolved all issues with the reception and asked me to inform him of all problems.
BEACH and CORRAL. The beach here is not outstanding, not big. In general, there are two of them - because they are separated by a pier. One paddling pool with sand. The second one (to the left) has a small reef for the “weak swimmers”. I thought for a long time how to evaluate it on a 5-point scale and think on a solid 3. And if on a trip to Utopia the “coral gardens” are deep, then everything is close and clearly visible. Mostly young fish were fishing, but larger fish come up (I saw trevally and barracuda). In general, I enjoyed spending time with a mask and fins. Although of course there was a wind that spoiled the rest - it was chilly to get out of the water. The beach is well equipped, there were places (3 types of sun loungers), there are showers and foot washers. There is a bar and a dining restaurant. Entertainment - volleyball, boccia, animation.
The animators are trying, you don’t have to run after them begging for bocci balls or a ball, there is no schedule (as in some hotels), entertainment is a whole beach day. But the evening program starts late (after a boring children's disco, although the children liked it). They didn’t always sit out (it was very cold, even in blankets), but, in general, the set was standard - belly dancing (by a dancer without a belly), a circling man with skirts and tambourines, dancing with “LEDs”, a competition “hotel bowl” and “Mr. hotel. "
Again, because of the wind it was cold in the evenings (very harsh winter this year), but the wi-fi is only at the reception (weak). Therefore, everyone stubbornly sits there (although in the evening it is almost meaningless). Smokers are not allowed inside, and the program is not visible inside - that's all and freeze in blankets. “Fifas” in evening dresses and stilettos in a plaid were especially pleasing to the perception : ). Although fur coats over “training shoes” are also quite “our way”. But, in general, there are also well-dressed vacationers.

And finally, about one more thing (not about the water park, which is here), but about a wonderful fish restaurant outside the hotel. We were lucky that a good company came up, and we went into the city several times to this wonderful restaurant (which was recommended to our friends in their travel agency). I strongly advise you to find and visit it, because the menu is just great and not expensive. It is located not far from the hotel, behind the large (central) mosque of the city, behind which is the fish market (terribly smelly) and it is across the road from it. Spruce Shamaka is called, during the day you can’t even see the sign (it glows in the evening). Seafood samples on the first floor, you need to climb to the second. There are few foreigners there, mostly local and mixed families, which means that the price and quality are good. The portions are huge, you eat yourself up to complete intoxication, although alcohol is not served there. And what cool fresh juices are there (then I didn’t drink them on our beach, the difference is so big). Seafood is fresh and delicious, I can say I had a gastronomic epiphany.
So I am quite satisfied with the rest, including, because I made several discoveries for 14 (like) times in Yegi, for example: you can’t mix rum with whiskey (especially before excursions), how to properly wear flippers, local restaurants can be a pleasant experience. In general, Egypt always makes you feel like a beginner, or rather Alice in a "wonderland" where everything is strange, but interesting.
