My wife and I traveled from the Aquarium Turov travel agency (a subsidiary of Join Up). The work of the travel agency without complaints. Based on our budget, several options were offered, we chose Montillon and did not regret it at all. We saw different reviews, including negative ones, probably not everyone correctly understands what 4 stars are. In this case, this is quite a good holiday for your money, which can be rated 4+, but not 5, so you understand. In general, there were a lot of pleasant impressions, so I recommend this hotel. And who wants chic - take 5 stars and Ultra all inclusive)
Let's start with the positives of the hotel. Our room was with a great view (4th floor), you don’t have to pay anything for it, the main thing is don’t hesitate to contact us if something is wrong. Relatively small, beautiful, well-kept area. There are bars by the sea (with drinks and snacks), an Italian restaurant (for lovers), a main restaurant and a lobby bar. The service is ok, the staff is pleasant and welcoming, mostly. Alcohol is local, we didn’t like much (we need to taste it), we chose beer, gin and tonic and cocktails for ourselves. The food in the main restaurant is good and varied, I speak as a tourist with experience. You can choose for yourself, both dietary and vice versa. Nice beach with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There is where to swim in the sea and there is a reef, you can snorkel. The animation in the hotel is not bad, they did not let the vacationers get bored. Of all the shops on site, we liked Muhamed's shop the most (in front of the beach and beach bars), they sell various local oils, etc. He will help you choose what you need, prices (especially for a hotel) are very reasonable and bargaining is appropriate, the goods are not hot, they show you this. Mukhamed is a pleasant person and knows how to sell, and not like the rest of the gypsies. Perhaps somewhere in the city you can find cheaper ones, but I won’t tell you if there are fakes there. The only thing is, in no case do not take anything in the Nefertiti store, where a guide can take you, prices there will be 3-4 times higher. And in general, it’s better not to take anything through a guide (this applies to excursions and souvenirs), not to follow all his fairy tales, all this is an absolute lie. By the way, 15 and 13 years ago, guides in Egypt also tried to deceive gullible tourists to take everything through them, no change here.
Now for the cons. The cleaning service is very bad which immediately ruins the hotel, it would look even better if it was well cleaned. In the rooms, the cleaners did not clean anything (they only made the bed and that's it), the water was not brought daily. There were dirty chairs in the beach bars as well as the restaurant. I don’t understand, because cleaning does not require investments, and the hotel could look much more beautiful. It is better not to tip the cleaners, we left on the first day, but the cleaning is simply useless. Another of the minuses was that someone was always annoying by imposing their services or goods. If the tourist refused, you don’t need to stand and beg and strain for a long time, like a qigani, it doesn’t work. Especially unpleasant and rude were the guys in the store with oils and papyri (under the reception, in front of the main restaurant). The tourist does not owe them anything, especially if he just came to ask the price. If this will be read by any of the representatives of the hotel, a big request to moderate the ardor of all these people. It's one thing if this happens on the street, another thing is a hotel. It really spoils the impression about him, sometimes it seemed that you live in some kind of market. Also, the hotel has very weak wi-fi (due to the large number of users), it is enough for maximum correspondence, but we didn’t need more, so we were neutral.

Excursions choose from individual preferences, you can safely take the guys on the beach. Unite in groups, bargain (and this applies to everything), this is Egypt)
Also not far from the hotel there is a beautiful mosque and a fish market. In the market, if you go, be careful not to be deceived, bargain again.
