We were at the hotel with friends and a child for a week, from 3 to 10 February. The company was large, it was difficult to take into account all the wishes. At first they planned to Sharm, but then it became clear that a hotel of such a level as we want in Sharm will be 100 dollars more expensive. In the end, we settled on Sunrise. I must say right away that everyone, including the child, really enjoyed it.
The first day was lost, barely had time for dinner. The hotel was considered already on the next day. the territory is spacious, beautiful (although there are similarities between Egyptian hotels), greenery, clean, often seen how they wash the asphalt. The room is pretty good, friends had a bath, we have a shower. At first they wanted to turn on the air conditioning for heating, in the morning the room was very fresh. But he did not turn on, it's like that for everyone. For cleaning, + - normal, for a week, in my opinion, 3 changes of bed linen, towels every day, we did not look for dust in the corners. One not very convenient moment - dim lighting in the room. Of course, we didn’t embroider there, but even touching up or something like that after sunset was difficult.
FOOD: For me, the best meal of the day was breakfast. A huge amount of delicious rolls, croissants, etc. Whole pies with fruit filling. Very tasty yoghurts. And the whole set, as always, omelettes, cheeses, sausages, etc. A friend said that there are 4-5 types of cereals for children. I remember in Turkey, although we were in a good hotel, there were difficulties with what to feed. No problem here. In general, lunches and dinners were similar to each other, but if someone needs variety, then you can eat liver today, fish tomorrow, then beef, and so on. Twice there were crabs that you could take freely as much as you want, and not as happens in a queue and are given out by the piece. Delicious cakes, pastries, strawberries every day. It doesn't look very ripe, but it's very sweet. In all bars and in the restaurant packaged juices, 5-6 types. Apart from the main restaurant. pool bar, fast food of sorts, shawarma, hot dogs. burgers and more. And in the bar on the beach, the choice is wider, there are soups and pizza, more like a main restaurant, but not in such a volume of course. And there is a small bar without snacks right on the beach, only drinks. As for alcohol, I only drank wine, and a few cocktails. Wine white, rose, red. They poured from bottles, very often it happened that they opened a bottle in front of me. The wine is pretty decent. Friends drank whiskey, brandy or rum, they said that it was normal. There are A-lacartes, we only had time in Italian, many people wanted to. Praised / Asian, but no longer hit. The Italian was also good.

WEATHER: on the 1st day we walked around the territory of Sunrise and Mamluk, there was no reason to go to the beach. On the trail. The day became noticeably warmer, but with wind. And about the 4th day, there was not even a wind. I called it * a real Turkish summer *, not July of course, but the first half of June is very similar. The sea for me was cool, go out and go. But the pool is tea : ) If it's windy, you want to wrap yourself in a towel. At the pool, I noticed that the lifeguards are very conscientiously looking after those who swim, especially children. And I was also very surprised by the moment when they tried to give a dollar to the employee who moved the sunbeds for us, categorically !! ! refused, he waved his hands. Suddenly. And yet, about the staff and not only. They began to behave much more delicately, before it was on the beach that all the sellers of excursions, parachutes, boats did not give the opportunity to lie quietly. Now he came up, offered his services, they said * no. Thank you *, in response * have a good rest *, and that's it. In addition, this hotel has a special feature, you can take red flags and stick it where you lie. This will mean that you are not to be disturbed. But at first we forgot, and then we realized that there was no need. It is the same in the shops across the road, there is no such wildness that was before now.
CONTINGENT: we arrived on Friday, there were 80-90 percent of the locals. There was a feeling that you were not in a hotel, but in a local environment. As we were explained that there were holidays and they also come for the weekend. Then it got smaller. I can’t say that they somehow interfered, except that it’s not very pleasant in the pool when they swim in 3-layer clothes. But there weren't very many of them. And the majority were Belarus, Ukraine, England, and a few others.
Slides, Aqua park - very good. About 10 slides, including not quite standard ones. Such filling in an ordinary hotel, I do not take into account those hotels that invite other tourists to their water park, I have not seen, neither in Turkey, nor in Egypt. Slides and completely for kids, then for older and adults.
BEACH : sand on the beach and the entrance to the sea too. Wide coastline. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the depth is not immediately. Fine sand, not a single stone.
ENTERTAINMENT, activities: animation IS! and quite active and pleasant. Morning exercises, dancing are held in the pool and on the beach until lunch. And then after 15-00 approximately. Every evening show. Before the show, mini disco. I also want to note that in addition to the standard set of dances for aram-tsam-tsam, there is a 2nd part, something like * talent show * for children. The kids love it, it's fun. In the morning, the mini-club also holds various events, fresh parties, building sand castles, etc.
DISCO: The hotel has its own disco. Not too crowded, but it's there. Day to day does not fall, when there are more people, when there are fewer. The same animators carry to the clubs of Hurghada. But we never made it.
Once we went to dinner in the Mamluk, everything is very similar. The difference is that there is a children's food area. And on the day that we were, it was very deserted there. In Sunrise, on the contrary, it was sometimes difficult to find a table. This is to the topic of hotel occupancy.

Guide Aneksa is quite a positive guy, he told everything in detail, even with humor, he did not stifle excursions.
Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. If for a conversation on a viber, the connection is intermittent, it is quite enough for correspondence.
As a result, our entire company (6 people) enjoyed our vacation in Sunrise very much. Usually we do not come again, as there are many good hotels, but after this trip, we thought to repeat. Since looking at the service, food, occupancy of the hotel + the availability of entertainment, you don’t want to take risks, it seems that the crisis didn’t touch Sunrise. I hope that if we come, we will not be disappointed with our *first* repeated vacation.
