A long-awaited trip, for the first time abroad, to Africa on the Red Sea - the expectations were the most optimistic, backed up by the confident word of the tour operator - a 5 star plus hotel, super rooms, a lot of seafood in restaurants, etc. etc.................The very first disappointment - the numbers given to us and friends were far from those that the tour operator tenderly sang about. Even at home, we were promised rooms in the Laguna area, and upon arrival it turned out that we were being accommodated in the Dune area, which is much further from the beach and, I'm sure, cheaper than we paid!! ! And in Laguna, repairs are being made and no one is being accommodated there! But, having got acquainted with the vacationers, it turned out that the guests from Belarus paid extra $ 150 and they were moved to a room closer to the sea. The hotel makes money out of the blue, telling vacationers that the rooms are being renovated, but for an additional fee they will look for a normal room!
So, the room reminded me and my husband of Soviet hotels - there is rust and hair in the bathroom, whitewash is pouring from the ceiling, 3 kg of ice is frozen in the refrigerator, the furniture is shabby, two single beds, although a room was ordered for a married couple....By the way, more some new acquaintances - newlyweds from the Dnieper, were also unpleasantly surprised. They ordered a room for the newlyweds, a honeymoon trip, a romantic and all things... The tour operator promised them a chic room with a double bed and a compliment from the hotel - a bottle of wine as a gift. But....Not only are the beds separate, no one said anything about wine at all, they also gave the room paired with the next one through the internal doors, in which there are gaps of three fingers. Accordingly, all conversations and even rustles and, the most unpleasant, tobacco smoke - everything from the neighboring room smoothly flowed into the room of our newlyweds!! ! Both we and they with a fight persuaded the administration to replace our rooms, at least for slightly better ones. It was embarrassing and humiliating.
WI-FI disgusting quality !!!!!! ! Neither in the rooms, nor even on the beach, it simply does not exist, only in the main building in the lobby. But on the beach, it was easy to connect to the open network of a neighboring hotel and completely free. Well, you can’t save on vacationers like that. Holidays "All inclusive" means a comfortable stay!!!!

And about restaurants separately. Of the 18 restaurants and bars scheduled by the tour operator, only 1 main restaurant on the second floor, Italian and fish, where you had to sign up for dinner a day in advance, and only four bars - two inside the main building and two on the beach, one of which is paid with a price 3 bucks for a can of beer!!!! ! The bartenders are arrogant, rude, they smile through their strength and pour less than the norm, it seems they are torn from the heart.
Food is also a separate issue. Yes, a lot of vegetables....and that's it. Some overcooked meat of some obscure chickens. The cheapest fish and also overcooked, overcooked. I generally keep quiet about seafood - they simply did not exist! There were grilled crabs, but it was impossible to eat them - they were empty, although they looked beautiful. Desserts are beautiful in appearance, but all taste the same. And to visit Africa and not see a single banana !!! ! Really funny and weird? Although I’m lying, I did see a couple, but in a chopped and unpresentable form near the chocolate fountain. From fruit - sliced ​ ​ melon and an apple, sometimes grapefruit is not the first freshness, but dates twice. All!! ! Flying more than 3000 km to eat pasta, scrambled eggs or mashed potatoes - does not fit in the head!!! ! At least one dish of their native cuisine was prepared for testing! For comparison, we went to a nearby hotel on an excursion to see how the food, conditions are there....I have never seen such a huge amount of fruits and meat dishes! Vouchers to that hotel are not much more expensive than ours, but the difference is enormous!!!!
The water park saves on heated pools. There was only one warm day every day, so it was not possible to try all the slides....There are no complaints except for the animators - they entertained half-starved vacationers as best they could. And then somehow sluggishly, they, too, you see, are poorly fed.
They say that 5-6 years ago this hotel was the best on the coast, and now it is a miserable semblance of a hotel that does not pull even 4 stars. Is that the pool is large and the bushes are beautiful. All!
Of course, we were told that it could be worse, but we were not at all pleased. I wanted to relax with comfort and without worries - it did not work out!

I would like to wish the chief manager of the hotel to reconsider his views on the service and management of the hotel in general, otherwise you will have only two out of five stars, and three will be blown away by the wind, as they say...
