Cleaning is normal, change towels, bed linen, flowers in a vase, figurines on the beds. The dollar, as expected, was left. The staff is very pleasant, not intrusive, no one begs for baksheesh. I boldly give five points.
The territory is green, proper care is provided: it is constantly watered, flowers, bushes are planted, weeding is done. In general, also no complaints.

I see that the problem of food in many hotels, even good (once) fives, is very relevant: queues and fights for food, poisoning, cleanliness of cutlery, etc. Here in this regard, everything is fine. I also do great. The choice of food is not very large (compared to the good old days), but everything is delicious. And although the hotel was completely full, there were no queues, the tables were almost always free. True, twice, when we went to dinner, for three or four it was not possible to find immediately, but the problem was solved within literally 10-15 minutes. Food is constantly replenished in the same range. Even if you arrive 20 minutes before the restaurant closes, you will get the same as at the beginning. Therefore, there is no need to run to eat immediately after opening (because all the tasty things will be quickly sorted out).
Again, for the very capricious: they manage to fry the meat on the grill to blackness, some dishes are too spicy (this is in many hotels). A la carte restaurants are bullshit. Signed up for dinner in Italian, ordered pizza. So the pizza that was in the tray in the dining room is much tastier than that Italian one. Therefore, they no longer went to Arabic. But it is, little things.
BEACH
The beach is quite big. Even with 100% occupancy, there are always free sunbeds. Therefore, there is no need to run and borrow at six in the morning either. Although the waves go to the shore in such a way that even with a strong wind, you can quite comfortably swim to the left of the pier about a hundred meters. Probably depends on the terrain or wind direction (I don’t know, not an expert). And on the right side, basically, they were not allowed. But this problem is solvable. If the wind does not allow you to swim, go to Marsa Mubark Bay. At the beginning of the bay there is a reef wall. You can always swim comfortably, with any wind there is calm, there is no haze, the reef is quite beautiful, although in some places it is pretty beaten up with mooring ropes. But there are plenty of fish of different types and sizes: rhinos, stingrays, stone fish, crocodile fish, you can see a huge moray eel, etc. That is, if you are not lazy and are not afraid to walk for 20 minutes, then in any weather you can organize a good rest for yourself. And you don’t have to cry that the rest was not a success, because of the wind they could not swim properly.
You can also swim in the bay of the Marina Lodge. Go approximately as to Marsa Mubarak. True, you will not see anything special there. But purely for a change it is quite possible to go. There are no waves there, you can comfortably swim all alone. We went there three times. On the first call, something was whistling from the opposite bank. I never understood what they wanted. We swam along the reefs, we did not swim in the boat cruising area. Also need corrals. That's when you already need to dump (unless, of course, you are not a fan of extreme sports). Some advise to watch the boats that are looking for him and join. Could be so. BUT! In the bay, on average, there are 3-4 yachts, each with a minimum of 12-15 people. And imagine that this whole crowd is pouring towards him, pushing with their elbows, bumping their foreheads, and slapping each other with flippers on the face (watch the video on the Internet). And they pay 50 euros or whatever it is. By the way, it is not yet a fact that having bought an excursion to the bay, they will see it. No, I do not need such pleasure. In this scenario, you will see not so much a dugong, as many assholes of swimmers, periodically getting fins in the face.
You can also come in the evening, when people start to leave, the yachts sail away. From about four o'clock you can still swim normally, and at five at this time of the year it already starts to get dark.
I'm talking about turtles. After we had seen enough of them near our hotel, being waist-deep in water, then in the bay we looked at them as if they were something ordinary.
There are also other interesting specimens of the underwater fauna: big eagles, we saw two octopuses (swimming and crawling holding each other by the tentacles - probably a couple in love), if you're lucky, you can see a manta.

On the second day of our vacation in the lagoon (3 descents from the pontoon) flocked a flock (40-44 individuals) of dolphins and circled the lagoon for an hour. These are incredible impressions.
Dolphins swim (as we were told) once every two to two weeks, around six in the morning. You can swim in this hotel from six in the morning. Also near the hotel there is a gentle sunset in the shallow (relatively) lagoon on the so-called Relax beach. Turtles swam in this lagoon.

We went once at 2.30 pm (it was very hot to go there, so the sun was already setting, it was easier). We went several times at 6.00 in the morning (it is more comfortable to go). At the exit of the hotel, the security guard asks for the room number, when you return, I must say. Pass without problems. They took the child with them. She swims well, but we got paid and rented a life jacket for her ($ 3 a day). Several huge turtles live in this bay. You will definitely see them. I liked the reef on the shoal - there are many sea urchins. They say dugongs are coming.

There are almost always waves, but if you keep a distance from the surf, then you didn’t notice any currents, and even swimming against the waves is not difficult. We had to make our way to the outer reef between the reef and the moored ships (they arrive around 10 am).
I went with a guide Olga from Marsa Alam to three reserves: to the Sataya reef, to the Sharm el-luli reserve and to the Abu Dabab reserve. Swim with dolphins on the Sataya Reef. Sharm El Luli has a stunningly beautiful reef with many soft corals. In the Abu Dabab reserve, the kingdom of green turtles and a beautiful reef with eagles. I want to say that I went on another excursion, not with Olga, to another reserve, to the Hamata Islands, summary: next time I will go only with her. Excursions certainly saved the situation with snorkeling on the hotel's house reef.

Sharm El Luli has a stunningly beautiful reef with many soft corals. In the Abu Dabab reserve, the kingdom of green turtles and a beautiful reef with eagles. I want to say that I went on another excursion, not with Olga, to another reserve, to the Hamata Islands, summary: next time I will go only with her. Excursions certainly saved the situation with snorkeling on the hotel's house reef.

They flew to Marsa Alam with only one purpose - the wife and son wanted to see the dugong (and they saw it! ). The hotel is on the "C grade", but solid. The rooms are tired, the food is average, the service is more or less, there is no sea. There is a small beach, 6-7 umbrellas, where you can somehow swim.

We chose this hotel only because of the proximity to Mubarak Bay. I am sure that we will not be guests here anymore, because. There are far better hotels in this price segment.

The holiday exceeded all my expectations!
We were lucky with the weather, on the second day of rest we opened a descent from the pontoon to the outer reef on the right side (from the pontoon it was possible to swim in both directions). The structure and scope of the reefs is impressive. The fauna seemed more diverse than in Sharm. If the last descent on the right is open - do not waste time - swim from the third right descent either to the left or immediately to the right towards Mubarak Bay. Although on the last day we swam only in the morning from the third right descent - there were very big waves - they did not let us in. It turned out even better - we went to the bay - we enjoyed it in full - we were pleased with the meetings with huge stingrays.
The lagoons and the descent on the left are not of interest by and large, although there I saw a white moray eel, turtles and a fish - a crocodile.
Inner reef - 2nd descent - you can almost always swim, but only the reef is half dead.
From the right pier, if you swim to the right, the reef is immediately dead ...after 150 meters it is very beautiful, but there are almost no living creatures. I saw a small reef shark at depth there. We need to calculate our strength (in one swim, when we swam back, considerable waves rose, it was difficult to swim, and a red flag was already hanging on the pier). Corals there are just a fairy tale.
If you swim from the right exit to the left - the reef is beautiful, diverse, very abundantly saturated with living creatures - especially in the morning - hawksbill turtles (almost every day), moray eels, eagle rays, scorpionfish, Arabian boxfish, ordinary stingrays, flocks of cesium and rhinos, really healthy surgeons, files, puffers, plataxes, caranxes, etc.
At the exit from The three corners fyrouz hotel, the guard writes down the room number (then they put a note warning about a fine 2 times due to the lack of a vest - as far as I understand) and I began to show them from the bag - a children's life jacket, that's the end of the notes.
It takes 15 minutes to walk from the hotel with a normal step to the bay. The bay is just a fairy tale. Turtles are huge! And right next to the beach. Only the lazy one will probably not see them there, you don’t even need to strain, they are everywhere. The dugong with the gang stuck - it's an unforgettable experience!!!
At the first arrival we saw a hefty turtle - a delight!! ! After dinner, 6 pieces per swim at once - all huge. After a couple of days, they looked at turtles in the bay - as a common occurrence (as in Sharm at surgeons). I met 5-6 in one swim almost always. The dugong was not seen for the first 3 days - even fear crept in - that I would not see it at all. On the 4th day he came! Both in the morning and in the evening. From the expectation of a meeting, emotions were overflowing - it's just a TOWER !!!

There were 3 days when none of the vacationers saw him (he talked with those who almost lived in the bay - to see him). But the bay is interesting not only for dugong - a pink stingray huge as a black blanket (my stingray video is https://youtu. be/O-Dh3q_fQJY), a guitarist, a spotted needle stingray (my video of a spotted stingray - https://youtu. be/ Yc6N7SYn8i0) fish stone, etc. The corals on the left side of the bay are beautiful, but the hotel ones are much stronger of course.
Much can be written about the sea. The hotel ranked first among my visits to Egypt.
Very good conditions for filming and photography. There were a lot of video materials, it's a pity there is little time for their processing.
The staff is friendly, attentive. Service at a high level. In the room every day twisted new figures on the bed.
The lifeguard on the pontoon was normal - from 5/20 he came - opened the fence and did not interfere with the swim (even when the red flag). They were allowed into the bay - with sunrise, or even earlier.
The air conditioner worked at 5 *, Noise and screams were never heard in the evening - it was quiet, the contingent of vacationers were British, Italians, Germans, Czechs, Poles - all cultured.
Meals are standard. There were no poisonings. Beer is always cold and probably one of the best varieties. which I drank in the hotels of Egypt.,
