I was staying with my homeland (4 adults) in this hotel, room 3028 is the first hotel built in Sharm el-Sheikh, the hotel is located on the first shoreline, on a hill with a magnificent view of the Red Sea and the Sinai Mountains. The hotel is located near the Old Town - 700 m.
The beach from the hotel is large - 900 m, descent to the beach by stairs or elevator. The beach is clean, the beach has enough sunbeds and umbrellas.
Walking by the sea from the shore (without a pontoon), there are almost no corals as such, but if you walk 5 minutes to the left of Albatross Beach, there is a wild beach and there are just incredible corals and colorful fish. There is also a large swimming pool near the hotel, beach towels are issued by the hotel manager upon check-in, and there is a booth by the pool where these towels can be taken daily. You can swim in the sea until sunset, in the pool until 18:00. Also at sea there are animators who entertain every day as they can: yoga, water fitness, volleyball, darts, and there was a foam party in the pool, interesting. The area is very well maintained, lots of greenery, everything is just perfect, nothing to complain about. Every night workers treat the area from mosquitoes and insects.
There is a main restaurant on site. -22:30. For those who want to continue there are parties on yachts and in closed clubs ($ 10-15).
The hotel itself is quite stretched, there is a sea view, a view of the cottage, a view of the pool.
We had a room booked with a view of the garden or the pool, but we were lucky and we got a room with a view of the sea and the mountains. Rooms are clean and well-groomed, nothing is shabby, in each room (we have two bedrooms and a living room) air conditioning, warm water in the shower, everything works smoothly, near the house was a small terrace where you can admire the evening landscape. The staff is attentive, all very nice.
The food is varied, we really liked the cuisine, a large selection of different dishes: always two types of soup, rice, grilled potatoes, breaded vegetables, stewed beef, chicken, grilled chicken, steaks, quail, fish, squid, pasta, pizza , various omelets prepared by the chef, pancakes, sausages, sausages, cheeses, cheese, milk with different meat yuslyami, yogurts different, many greens, beet salads, carrots, lettuce leaves, salads different in sauces, fruits (watermelon, melon, apples, oranges, dates), pastries are very tasty, we have not tried everything, tea and surprisingly good coffee (espresso, Americano with milk, latte). On the beach from 10:30 there were snacks: hot dog, hamburger, french fries, sauces, salads.
Alcohol and beverages: whiskey, rum, wine, beer, juices, yuppies, milkshakes, alcoholic cocktails such as "Sex on the Beach", "Blue Lagoon", well, in principle, normal, of course it's not Jack Daniels, but the hotel is not premium.
Excursions: we took from the tour operator sailing on a yacht - $ 50/1 person, diving was in question, the guide said that you can buy for $ 5 on the yacht, if desired, but the price of the yacht was $ 15, well, I convinced them That $ 15 - it's fantastic and still for $ 5 was diving, also took a tour of the desert on ATVs to meet the sun, at the hotel $ 15, and we took in the Old Town for $ 10. Cairo is closed, Israel is closed.
I would also recommend buying shrimp on the market for $ 12 kg (very large and bombshell in garlic sauce), shampoo, balm, very good teas, cold pressed oils. Only on a free tour from the tour operator, these oils, souvenirs are ten times more expensive than if you walk around the market and buy.
The conclusion is this: we had everything perfect: weather, sea, food, excursions! The only thing is that the hours are very short, the week flew by unnoticed!

PROS:
• LOCATION is its biggest advantage. Firstly, a lively beautiful reef is a 3-minute walk from the hotel beach: stingrays, lionfish, butterfly fish and many other inhabitants of the Red Sea. The hotel beach is a dead reef, but fish also swim there, there are colored clams. Secondly, the hotel is located a 15-minute walk from the old city with a mosque and a market.
• FOOD is good. There are always several types of meat (veal, chicken, quail, stewed, boiled, with sauces on the grill), several types of seafood (fish, squid, grilled king prawns 2 times in 7 days), vegetables (grilled, stewed, under sauce), breakfasts, salads and sweets - very weak, cocktails - none.
• CONCEPT - a relaxing holiday. Most of the animation takes place on the beach: exercises, zumba, yoga, beach volleyball. So at the pool in the morning and afternoon - everything is at your disposal, as in a private villa in Tuscany. Mini-disco in the evening, very weak competitions, disco (no one dances). Everything ends at 11 and peace and quiet sets in (there are also disadvantages on this matter, read below "Numbers and repairs"). Animators are pleasant, unobtrusive.
• STAFF is mostly pleasant and genuinely willing to help. We were quickly settled, they gave us a choice of rooms at no extra charge (read "Rooms and Repairs").
MINUSES:
• ROOMS and REPAIR - the biggest disadvantage of the hotel. As far as we know, it has been closed for about 5 years and is currently undergoing renovations. In the middle of the night, a grinder was cutting boards. The rooms are bad (were in 5 different ones). Air conditioners everywhere are old and broken, condensate drips, they rumble terribly, the modes do not change. Mattresses and pillows sagging. The furniture is old. Repairs were made in the family rooms, as we understood, the rest are 69 years old.
• CLEANLINESS - Cleaning is a problem. The hotel was closed for 5 years and no one bothered with cleaning before opening. Everything is dirty, glass, paintings, curtains, linen are stained, drains are clogged in the rooms, disinfectants are everywhere, but not one of them is filled with a product.
• GUIDE AND EXCURSIONS from Anex Tour. Were in Cairo, safari on ATVs and on the boat trip "Mermaid" for $ 100 per person.
Cairo is more or less sane, but keep in mind that the museum has half moved to a new location and some of the exhibits are gone, it will take 2 hours to go shopping.
Safari - the guide promises 1.5 hours on ATVs, 30 minutes in total and another 30 minutes of just standing at the "Bedouins", where they will not offer you tea or tell you anything. They don’t take them to the desert, 1 km there on a terrible road - 1 km back. Everything. "The Little Mermaid" - they promise to take them to the Ras Mohammed reserve, but in the end it turns out that the entire territory (including our hotel) is all Ras Mohammed, as a designation of the region. You are driven a couple of kilometers there, a couple back around the hotel. It is clear that the guide from Aneks will describe it all to you in a wrong way and will be very friendly until you ask the question: why is everything not as he told. )
