Not the first time in Egypt and therefore have something to compare. The hotel is far from five! As the guide Noah told us - a budget hotel. It's really budget friendly.
From the good:

- On the same street as the hotel, 3 min. walk there is a good fish restaurant.
- Heated pool on the roof, it's nice to lie down and look at the landscape around, it's really small and there may not be enough sunbeds, but there are still pillows.

We had a good room, beautiful, the beds were especially pleasing (comfortable), but there was a feeling that it was never cleaned. The towels weren't changed, just re-folded. We began to leave them on the floor, then changed them. We got used to the fact that in 5 * there is usually a gel and shampoo, and they usually put it on every day. There was liquid soap dispensers. . .
The food in the restaurant was delicious for dinner, sometimes pleased with lunch. Breakfasts are the same. Pleased with dinner at Christmas - here we felt in the good five - it was a lot of delicious and beautiful!! ! I didn’t like how they served it, they put one napkin and it’s difficult to interrogate another. The queue for dinner is common. The cooks are very serious, they give a small piece of meat, you already need to ask for the second one - I didn’t like it.

2) Reef, also free. There are many sunbeds, the view is excellent, but there is no reef, there are few fish, and there is nowhere to swim. The biggest minus is during the windy season, it is always very windy and there are big waves, during our 9 days of rest there was a red flag most of the time.
3) Palma BEACH - $ 2 (we take a ticket at the reception). Nice, big, especially comfortable with kids there. But it was important for us to see the beauty of the reef, here it is also very poor and very small. But swimming and sunbathing is great!
4) Phanara!! ! OUR beach! True $ 3, but there is a gorgeous reef and a cozy beach and a cafe and diving! And when there is a red flag on the Reef, there are almost no waves here, since it is slightly closed from the wind in the bay.
