We stayed at this hotel in late April three years ago. The hotel is cozy, the area is small, everything is close, everything is comfortable and nice. The food is average, nothing special, but you can't call it shit. Rooms are also average for Egypt. The reef is good, there are enough fish, we saw stingrays and a huge grouper. I will not say anything about the wind, because it was not winter.

But even here there are nuances. When you check in, be sure to check that there is no door to the next room. These are former family rooms. If the neighbors come across cheerful, then you may not be able to relax. You can hear everything the neighbors are doing through that door. The staff is very friendly. The reef is wonderful. There was a strong wind for two days and the panton was closed in the afternoon, but some brave ones still swam. Walking distance to Soho. Walk 20-30 minutes. I rode for the reef and the sea and was very pleased.

When we swam in the direction of Siwa (ras bob), almost every day we saw a hefty moray eel, a couple of times a turtle, Napoleon, clown fish live there, there are a lot of fish, but the reef itself is poor. If you sail towards Sirena, the reef is very beautiful. We sailed to the pantones of the Baron and Sensatori. We saw a large grouper, stingrays, moray eels, small reef sharks, a huge cornax. We swam for two and a half hours. If you want to swim far and long and see a lot of things, then it is better to do it in a wetsuit. Unless you are a walrus of course)

Thanks!!! The photos are very impressive. So far, the mood is very positive. In December 2017 we were in Sonesta Beach. Compared to the beach of that hotel and the reef, here (in all photos) is much more interesting. We will save on excursions, before we specially took an excursion on a yacht with three stops, dives and lunch in the Ras Mohammed reserve. Everything is in place here.

I offer. Were very happy with the reef last September. About the hotel itself previously said, food, rooms, serving - so-so. But RIFFF! Hotel PROTECTION from wind and waves. If you swim to the left, you will swim to a large sandy meadow, where very often, especially in the morning, mantles and stingrays swim, seeing the grouper there. Untouched coral gardens begin even further. An octopus and moray eel were filmed near the shore. One or two Napoleons were constantly coming, and many more, you can't list them all. Needless to say, in the morning a dozen or more boats, intro divers and snorkellers come to this.
This is an economical option, you do not need to go anywhere else. But the water in winter can be cool, buy wetsuits, albeit the cheapest.
