Tell me where is the best reef, fish (only they, not hotels) Sharm Plaza 5, The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh 5 or where is Royal Grand Sharm ??? Pysy please unsubscribe who was in these hotels?
Interested only in reef, pontoon(s), entry into the sea?? N.B. you can also offer your options for hotels with a good reef (Sharks Bay and the reef where Melia Sinai - do not offer, we have already been there, we know!)

were in Domina Coral Bay - the reef is gorgeous, the beach is very large, there is an entry into the sea from the shore (lionfish, clown fish, surgeons, stingrays, manta rays). Another good reef at Sunrise Diamond Beach is the neighbor Royal Grand Sharma - entry is only from a pontoon.

see my review http://www.turpravda.com/eg/sharm_el_sheyh/Melia_Sinai_Hotel-h16873-r154999.html
I marked in the photo places with a live reef in a different color and just inspected bays too

In my opinion, a beautiful reef in the bay of Ras Um El Sid. From hotels, for example, Jazz Fanara Resort 4 *, Reef Oasis Beach 5 *.

The Sharm Plaza hotel has a good reef. Especially if you swim to the Hyatt hotel (if you are facing the sea, then swim to the right). There the reef is very beautiful, colorful and there were few people.

The Grand Hotel right off the coast is very deep, just an abyss. And it often storms there, although as far as I know, the beach is not closed. Another beautiful reef near the former Melia Sinai (now it has a different name, I don’t know if it works). You can still swim to that reef from the Siva Sharm hotel.

I was in Royal (neighbor of Sunrise) and in Faraan (next to Reef Oasis Beach). Both hotels with good corals, but in Royal there is a pontoon reef, and there is a reef wall (30 m deep). Practically from the shore the entry is bad.
I liked Pharaana more, there is a sandy shore, from where there is also access to corals. The bay is closed from the winds.
Here are my reports on these hotels in an account with a photo. I spoke in detail.

If the priority is fish and reef, then, as I understand it, you people are good and far swimmers, which means that it is necessary to compare not hotel reefs, but the bay. I would advise you to choose Gardens Bay, and with it Sharm Plaza. The bay is very beautiful, and the reefs of the neighboring hotels Continental and Hyatt are considered one of the most beautiful in Sharm. Comparing the reefs of Gardens Bay and Ras Nasrani (where the mentioned Melia Sinai is located), the reefs of Gardens seem richer to me. On Ras Um Sid Bay (where the other two hotels are) you can swim from a public paid beach, and in Gardens Bay there are only hotel reefs. In general, I advise Sharm Plaza.

In the mentioned hotels Sharm Plaza 5, The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh 5 or where Royal Grand Sharm
a more colorful reef at Sharm Plaza 5. In the same place, but with a calm bay and a gradual Domina setting.
And a gradual entry without a pontoon and a colorful reef at the hotels: El Faraana Club, Reef Oasis Beach, Jaz Fanara.

In Oasis Beach Reef, you can enter the sea both from the shore and from the pontoon. There is no hotel pontoon in Faraan; public bridges, you need to get on them along the coast. Look at Ras um Sid bay. This is Faraana beach, then the pontoon Reef Oasis Beach

And this is the Royal pontoon

Domina is not in the same bay with Sharm Plaza, but in the next. Gardens Bay is very calm, I was there in December and January, there were never waves, in the warm season it will be generally gorgeous.

Good afternoon, I was in Sharm plaza and The Grand, the reef is beautiful here and there, but I liked it more in sharm, because you can see the bottom there and there are such small islands of reefs, it’s very cool to swim between them, and in The Grand right away depth, and so deep that you can’t see a hint of the bottom, so it feels a little different, and plus the hotel is so worth it that the sun sets very early, so the time in the afternoon is shorter that you can spend in the water, plus when the sun sets it’s hard to see under water , therefore, according to the reef, I would choose the first option

Good afternoon! Were with my husband in Sharm Plaza, Club El Faraana Reef - twice in the cold season. The reef is much richer in Sharm Plaza. The entry from a short pontoon is better and the reef is richer. In the bay of Om El Cid, where Club El Faraana Reef is located, we visited all the beaches: both the hotel and the famous El Fanar paid beach. But there is no such variety of fish and beauty of living corals as in Sharm Plaza. My husband is a swimmer and has explored all of Gardens Bay. I don’t swim long distances, but even at the very pontoon in Sharm Plaza you can see almost the entire range of Red Sea fish. Dolphins also frequent this bay. Club El Faraana Reef is good in winter, there is no wind, warm water is always, a beautiful sandy entry into the sea, there is a pontoon (you need to go along the beach to it), but a meager assortment of fish. Now we are also planning a trip to Sharm Plaza precisely because of the excellent reef with fish. If you find a better reef, please write.
