Hi all. In principle, until today I was not going to write a review, because in general I was satisfied with the rest and there were no complaints about the hotel. Except for small remarks. We booked a pool view room. We were put in this room. There are several pools on the territory of the hotel, a couple - in the center of the hotel, two more - to the right of the Reception. We were settled with a view of one of those (with sea water), which is near the Reception. Everything would be fine, but besides this, the room was also overlooking the airport runway. On the one hand, it was romantic, especially during the sunset over the Sinai mountains, on the other hand, it was very noisy from the turbines, as the planes landed / took off every 15-20 minutes. And there was also some noise from some technical room of a nearby hotel. Of course, you could try to change the room, overlooking the large pool, but comparing it with the fact that there were noisy people splashing in the pool, music sounded, and there was a slight smell of bleach, we decided not to change anything. Everything else was great. The kitchen is super. The main thing is to follow the rules of hygiene, wash your hands often, rinse them with clean bottled water, and brush your teeth with it too. The sea is also super, there was always a green flag. Thank God there were no sharks on our way. In principle, I knew that they are found in the Red Sea, but we were told that they do not swim close to the shore. When we were there they didn't really swim up. But the other day I, like many of you, heard on the news about the terrible attacks of sharks in the waters of Sharm el-Sheikh. I also found a papa74 review on Turpravda about a shark that swam near the beaches of Savoy, Sierra, Concord, Sunrise in December 2009. I was shocked. Perhaps if I had read this before my trip to Sierra, I would have thought carefully about the expediency of this trip. Therefore, I want to warn everyone about caution during a holiday in Egypt. There are many dangers, including on the roads. We ventured somehow to go on their minibus (minibus) to the Old City. It's some kind of roller coaster. In general, be vigilant and careful. I don't scare anyone, but I warn. If the hotel and beach workers in Egypt do not care about our safety, do not take any action to make shark barriers, we should think about it.
