This is the first time in my life I am writing a review about a hotel. There is simply no way to contain such negativity!
We rested at the end of June at the SUNRISE Select Diamond Beach Resort in Sharm El Sheikh.
The hotel was initially unpleasantly surprised by shabby rooms and indifferent staff.
But what happened next was shocking! Already now I understand that, most likely, a gang of thieves operates in the hotel, which is covered by the administration, but then I still hoped for the help of this very administration.

We rested with friends and on the last day before flying home they discovered that money (about 2.000 dollars) was missing from the safe, even hryvnias were taken away... And the nightmare began! A whole delegation of 5 people came to the room, the search was in full, they delved into personal belongings and underwear. Further, from the side of the head of security of the hotel, accusations were made against their son and our family, that they say everything is in order in the hotel, and one of us stole the money! The most surprising was the hotel guide from our tour operator Anex Tour, who, instead of helping us, was simply indignant that the family had so much money, but they didn’t buy a single excursion from him!
On my demand to call the police, I was asked to “leave and not interfere with communicating with the victims”!
Representatives of the hotel administration did their best to “do not understand” the Russian language, they scared the local police, assured that their safes were inaccessible, although during the proceedings it turned out that in addition to the keys to each safe, the hotel staff also have a universal code that opens any hotel safe! In general, all these proceedings dragged on until late at night and the promises of the tour operator that our friends would be able to receive some kind of compensation calmed us down a bit. And in vain! The next day brought complete disappointment in the decency of the hotel administration and in the indifference of the tour operator! No compensation! Advice - call the police, realizing that in a few hours we are flying home, was just a mockery! And this is despite the fact that our friends have been regular customers of Anex Tour for 6 years already!
Communicating with other guests, we were convinced that this is a well-established scheme! All thefts occur on the last day, when there is no time for either the police or the fight for your rights! A shame for the hotel management and a nightmare for the owners of the hotel - how many guests who will never come here again and how much negative for the reputation!
