We stayed in November 2011.
Turquoise /ˈ tɜ rkɔ ɪ z/ or /ˈ tɜ rkwɔ ɪ z/ - translated as Turquoise. (The term comes from the French for Turkish. )
The hotel is located on the seafront (1st line across the road), in the center of the Sharm El Maia area (Sharm El Maia) in a bay where there are a lot of sewage pipes, a 5-minute walk from the "old town" = Old Marketa.
Blue minibuses go to Naama Bay from Old Marketa = 1 pound fare (round trip).
The main restaurant "Paradise" - for 100 people, upon arrival of the Arabs for the weekend - whoever does not have time to take a seat - will have to eat on the street (up to 60 lucky ones).

Arabs come in from Thursday and leave on Sunday before lunch. Thank God that they do not have All Inclusive, but only Half Board = therefore, at lunch in the restaurant, only Slavs and Balts. For breakfast, the Arabs are in no hurry - they like to sleep, and dinner is a marathon for occupying tables and queuing for meat and other sweets when the restaurant opens at 19.00.
The bars have a lot of delicious natural juices from bags (nectar, orange, apple, guava, pineapple), the most delicious guava juice. Glasses - transparent hard plastic under glass - so that they could not break.
The hotel is aimed at pensioners-nerds with elements of the council of deputies in the money saving mode, basically everyone takes tours to it for 2 weeks, and after the 10th day, many are blown away by Groundhog Day.
At the reception, they don’t understand Russian (only weak English), in bars and restaurants, the staff speaks excellent Russian.
The hotel has its own sandy beach, umbrellas, sun loungers, mattresses, beach towels - there are always places = because. Arabs practically do not sunbathe and swim in the sea in clothes a little. Those wishing to admire the corals need to walk along the coast (to the right along the road) 12 min. to a wild beach - which is behind a fence and a lined Israeli tank in front of the port.
All rooms with sea and pool views. It is better to take the 2nd floor - the rooms all start at 300.
In the room: standard, hair dryer, split air conditioner, mini-bar (empty), room cleaning - daily, bed linen change - daily. If you leave a dollar, the swans will not be twisted - only flowers will be put in a pot, swans twisting - from 5 bucks.
The outdoor swimming pool (300 sq. m, depth 1.6 m) is not heated, the water is ice cold - no one bathes and does not run the risk of hypothermia.
The hotel is a typical three-ruble note, although at the entrance it hangs on all signs 4 stars = because. one more building is being completed and there will be a full-fledged "type" 4-ka.
A beautiful camel walks along the beach - a whole photo session for a dollar.

On Tuesdays, a disco on the beach near our bar - they bring party-goers from all areas of Sharm, for our hotel the entrance is free - for the rest 35 dollars. Disco from 21.00 to 3-4 nights. Pensioners immediately begin insomnia. It is difficult to fall asleep in the rooms under 200 kilowatts - despite the fact that the speakers are aimed at the hotel. Glasses and doors rattle. . .
Breakfasts are boring - on the 3rd day they already get bored - and there is nothing to eat and is monotonous, but lunches and dinners are delicious. From fruits: dates, melons, oranges, guava.
Corals are weak - in Hurghada it is even more beautiful.
