Разочарование Disappointment

In Egypt and Sharm for the third time. Before that, they rested only on the first line at the Sheraton and Jolly Willy.

I must say right away that we were not looking for a cheaper hotel. We wanted to find the best for children in winter. They trusted the amateurs from the travel agency, for family friends, acquaintances and all that (another confirmation of the unspoken rule).
Also, I’ll say in advance that I really respect the work of hotel employees (any), because I understand why they should please picky guests, how hotel managers press them, and even just learn two languages ​ ​ in order to get a job in these hotels in Sinai. I also never skimp on tips at the bar or near the pools, or when a person provides you with a service, albeit conditionally free, even if you came to all inclusive. Therefore, I have no complaints about the hotel staff. The guys are trying their best, for which we thank them very much!

While most of our compatriots do not bother to learn at least one foreign language, having a good and free education, the ability to speak two foreign languages, albeit with difficulty, is worthy of respect!

So, we arrived at the end of December as a family with two children. Naturally, we chose the hotel for the sake of the slides and the water park.
Since the sea is cold in winter, we agreed to the second line in the hope that it would be warm in the pools, since everyone comes here only because of this water park and they must heat the water, after all, five .....

Guys, the hotel is a complete scam! The area itself is bald. There is almost no vegetation at all (especially compared to the Sheraton, one can say that there is only bare sand).
But to hell with it, we were driving for the sake of slides for children!

As a result, the slides work, but only a drunken person or a walrus will climb on them, since the water in the pools in these winters is icy!
A normal parent would not let their child into such water.
There are, however, a couple of heated pools. They, of course, without slides and save the situation a bit. But, sorry, there are a lot of such pools in any hotel and on the first line!
Where is the promised heated water park???!! ! Where are the vaunted slides for children? ! Winter!! ! Where can children swim? The hotel, after all, was originally a family!
Why not a word about the fact that swimming in the water park in the winter does not work?!

The second disappointment is the food.
Oh, I remember with sadness the food and especially the omelet with bacon and coffee in the mornings at the Sheraton and at Jolly Willy. There is a meager choice here: mostly french fries, chicken, rice. Western omelets are made to look like soles.
There is sweet, it looks beautiful, it is clear that the cooks tried very hard, laid out all sorts of flowers and roses on them.
And this is doubly insulting because it is a pity for the staff who are trying to somehow brighten up the disappointments of tourists, but for the most part all these sweets are either tasteless or “well, so-so”. Again, I remember Sheraton chocolate cakes and mountains of cakes. This is heaven and earth.


Third: mosquitoes! Of course, this does not apply to the hotel, but it's just tin. There are tons of them. Starting from 10-11 o'clock it is not possible to be on the balcony. The door to the room cannot be opened. In the evening, the territory is sprayed with some sort of raid-type crap that stinks like a mixture of kerosene and diesel fuel. The stench in the hotel is the same as near a working Zil in a closed garage with the engine running.

Fourth: what the hell is a five???!!! ! The Aqua Blue standing next to it is head and shoulders more beautiful than this water park. And the territory and the amount of greenery and proximity to the beach.
The Albatross water park itself is not even the second line. This is the THIRD line!!!!!
Yes, there is a bus to the beach, that's romance.
Well, if I had brought you to the sea, so no, you still need to go down later.
There are also all sorts of little things, such as the stench of manure in the hippodrome area from horses and camels (and this is right next to the restaurant block), smoky common areas and premises (you can smoke almost everywhere on the territory of the hotel, although there are “no smoking” signs everywhere). Riabyata, this hotel is more for children! Have a conscience!

All in all, a complete disappointment with the hotel. The situation is saved by excursions of which there are plenty and it is worth taking them at least not to sit in this dull smoky place, but I would rather take them in hotels on the first line with a good green area where it is pleasant to walk in the green labyrinths in the evening and where it smells of flowers.
