My husband and I are just relaxing in the Lido and we already want to share our impressions. Reading the reviews before the trip, we did not expect mega service and chose this hotel because of the view and location. So overall we weren't disappointed.
I'll start with the pros:
- great location, almost no wind; next to the shopping street, you can buy almost everything
- view from the room
- A great beach, there is a sandy entry from the shore (but I would still recommend wearing corals) and from the pier
- Compact area, which turned out to be quite convenient
- With food, in my opinion and taste, everything is also good
- Room cleaning every day. Making elephants out of towels))
- The staff is mostly friendly and smiling

- We liked the massage from the hotel. 15min general massage - $15. The course is even cheaper. The girls are doing very well. Maybe towels and not the first freshness, but the price is small. But the hammam from our tour operator for $ 50 was very upset. So better take a massage in Lido)
- I liked the animation in general, the guys are trying
Minuses:
- for some reason, the staff never give up. If you need it, you are sent to the reception to exchange money. And at the reception you are sent somewhere far away to look for an ATM outside the hotel. I don't understand this approach
- We had an interesting situation with billiards. In general, the pool bar is open until 5 pm, so billiards is also up to 5, which is also somehow illogical - you can only play it in the scorching heat. Then, for two days we played for $4 an hour. On the third day we played a game and found that the compartment with the balls was locked. At the reception we were told that 4 dollars (suddenly) costs one game. To our questions about why yesterday and the day before yesterday this price was for an hour, they show misunderstanding and indignation with all their might. I also didn’t notice any sign with current prices on this score and advised them to do it all the same. Some strange marketing in Egyptian.
- A couple of times people didn't have enough seats for lunch. But there are no complaints about the staff - they worked very quickly. It's more of a planning issue.
- Often there are no free sunbeds at the pool. Some very smart vacationers leave beach towels there, such as taking a sunbed, and they themselves go to the beach and take sunbeds there too, but with their own personal towels and things. I hope the hotel will pay attention to this redneck and still forbid taking sunbeds by the pool for the whole day
- Our room is just under the bar. It is clear that loud music plays above us until 11 at least, but it does not matter. The trouble is bar stools, which it's time to either grease or throw away. The sound they make is furious and those who rest in the bar do not really hear it because of the loud music. But those who want to sleep hear very much)

- The LIDO hotel does not have its own pier. This is the pier of the Marina Sharm Hotel. You can swim from it during the day, but you can’t go there in the evening. Even when there are no activities at all, there is a closed barrier and the guard does not let you into the pier
- there are no yoga mats (( how is it at all?
- they call to paid discos straight with predilection
