I am for Jaz Fanara. Refurbished hotel, former Iberotel. A level above Pharaana. The reef there is also more beautiful, although not essential.

Alcohol, except for beer, no (we do not drink, so it was not fundamental to us). The hotel is solid and was for Italians. Rooms are tired, but in moderation (shows perfect planning and good construction). For 20 y. moved to the sea, but we liked it anyway (just 2 floors, because on 1 you live like on the street). The beach has its own dive center - you can dive or train for a certificate. The price was 432 and 770 (jazz) for 7 nights 2 adults.

Minus: no toilet and shower on the beach (there is a hookah in Farsh, but not very clean there). There are no snacks at the hotel or on the beach. There are places with clutter and construction debris. Cola and Sprite drinks are local and specific. Few rooms have direct sea views. Animation among the baby. But all this blocked the sea, corals, fish and price. Reading that the Jazz has made repairs in certain rooms, but it is much smaller than the Club is small and very long as a gut (see map). We plan to return here with the children in February-March. Have a good rest.

We solved the issue of quality food, which we lacked in the hotel, by going to the 24-hour supermarket in the neighborhood where Egyptians live. Prices there are fixed, paid by Privat card :) There we already bought what the soul desires, not what the hotelier squeezed into the "meager " budget. It should be understood that low ticket prices lead to a decrease in the quality of food and service. Last January we had 10 nights at the Grand Hotel Charm, then it cost $ 1,000. (now 7 nights 432 USD - hear the difference) If you are interested, I will give a link where it is. There are about 2.5 km on lighted streets (my wife and I were useful to walk). Therefore, personally for our family it turned out cheaper and more useful :) The choice is yours :)

You can live without a sea view. In the room to change and sleep, and the rest in the people. Once they took a room with a sea view, there was a steam room in the room (December), curtains and air conditioning did not help very much - from sunrise to sunset, the sun spat mom don't cry. Moved, feel better, but not the fact that it is in every hotel.
