The room has an old TV, a large and comfortable bed, a perfectly functioning air conditioner, a tea set, a hair dryer, shower gels and soaps, creams, a telephone, a clock / alarm clock. The room itself is clean. The furniture is not new, but all in excellent condition. The room was cleaned daily.
The hotel has two floors of common use - reception, bar, main restaurant. At the bar you can enjoy a variety of juices (not yuppies), alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and other drinks. Between breakfast and lunch in the bar you can refresh yourself with buns.
The hotel's main restaurant was also good. Lots of fruits and vegetables. On the street there is a barbecue where meat, fish and crabs are fried for dinner. The variety of food is not great. But everything is very tasty. You won't be left hungry.
The hotel has its own large beach. Near the shore there are many corals, many of which are still alive. There are a lot of different fish. There are always plenty of free sunbeds. The water is clean.
The Egyptian-Israeli border is a five minute walk from the hotel. This is very convenient for those who are planning to visit Israel. In general, the hotel is located on the border of 4 states: Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia. In this regard, the bulk of tourists are Arabs. We got to the Muslim New Year (October 14). For this reason, until the end of the week there were a huge number of Arabs with children in the hotel. Arab children were constantly screaming, running, and so on. But this fact did not prevent us - on the contrary. It was very interesting to look at people from countries unknown to us.
The only negative of this hotel is the distance from the airport. The duration of the journey by bus is about 4 hours. But if you are going to Israel, you still have to overcome this path.
The hotel does not have evening animation. I don't know if this is a plus or a minus. But in the evenings, you can easily fall asleep or spend time in a bar without being annoyed by loud music.
During the day, dance and aerobics classes are held on the beach.
Near the hotel on the pier you can buy tickets for a magnificent boat trip on a yacht with diving or snorkeling.
We went on a day trip to Israel from Ahmed, which is across the street from the hotel. We went through them, and not through the Tez Tour on the recommendation of the hotel guests. Didn't regret it at all. The cost of the trip was only 60 dollars!! ! The tour is great. We visited Bethlehem, Jerusalem, the Jordan River and the Dead Sea.
At the end of the review, I would like to recommend going to this hotel without hesitation. You will get a wonderful holiday for a reasonable price.
I would also like to add about the tour operator Tez Tour, through which we traveled. On the last day of rest in Sinai, it rained, which washed out the road to Sharm. Since precipitation was expected again and the road was planned to be closed, we were taken out of the hotel a day before the plane. Everything would be fine, but at 1.30 our guide said that at 12 o'clock we need to vacate the room!! ! We - just come from the beach wet and in the sand. Well, OK. We packed up and left. The guide said that we will be accommodated in a hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh. What was our surprise when we arrived at the terrible crystal sharm hotel 4 stars. You can read reviews about it. Rooms with terrible shaky furniture, angry and rude staff, disgusting food not the first freshness and dirty dishes. And nowhere, except for the restaurant, not working air conditioners!! ! As a result, we lost the day and spent the night in this hotel without sleep, because. it was really hot. And when the windows were opened, a bunch of mosquitoes flew in. And the next morning, an incident happened to the same injured couple. The man went to the toilet and could not get out of it, because. the lock is broken! The hotel workers broke the door and wanted to force them to pay a fine for the door!!!! ! When the couple refused to pay for it, the hotel manager unceremoniously took their things from the trunk of the bus and took them away !! ! As a result, the injured girl attacked this employee with her fists and the only way they could get their things! The bus in front of the plane was delayed for 1 hour!
Thanks to everyone who has read.

Transfer from the airport to the hotel took 3.5 hours, - minibus
We arrived at the hotel at 23.30. I would like to note that in connection with the terrorist attack, security measures have been strengthened: I have never seen such an inspection of luggage, hand luggage and personal belongings in all my 7 visits to Egypt. But I consider it a necessity.

Check-in was quick, but it turned out to be an embarrassment: we needed two beds, not one single bed, to which the hotel administration reacted strangely, given the virtual absence of guests in the hotel. We were informed that there is no clean room with two beds at the moment, but we will be adding another bed to the room with a single bed.
When this folding bed was brought to the room, it became quite clear that it is not very comfortable for an adult to sleep on this bed: there are bare metal bars at the head, the length of the bed is designed for a child. Separately, I would like to note that by the time we arrived at the hotel, the restaurant was already closed, so within literally 15 minutes they brought a light snack in the form of a bit of sausage, a bit of cheese, a bit of cucumber (100 grams each), bread, there were a couple of bananas, guava and a couple of oranges.

The next day, to my question about the room, the administrator at the reception, Muhamed, was pleased that, as a bonus for the inconvenience, the hotel would change our room in the main building with a sea view to a room in the Nelson Village bungalow. Moreover, we were given the opportunity to choose a room, which we did. I would like to note the work of Mukhamed: all our few requests were resolved quickly and efficiently.

During the rest everything was smooth and measured.
From the advantages of the hotel:
- excellent territory (compact, but not small, green, cozy and understandable), the sea is calm with an excellent gentle entrance with corals and beautiful fish
- the proximity of Israel for excursions, magnificent views from all rooms (a unique location: being in Egypt you see Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia at the same time), a very bright and exciting evening panorama of millions of lights of the coast
- calm and friendly atmosphere in the hotel. I would like to say special thanks to the girl Sarah, who always greets guests at the entrance to the restaurant with the most sincere smile, to the guys in the restaurant itself - everything is always fast and high quality, as well as to the bartender Akram - a friendly and sincere guy.
Of the minuses:
- ignorance of the Russian language by the staff (literally 5 people from the staff could speak Russian; it's a pity that even the animators are all Egyptians, they know two Russian words each)
- the presence of a large number of flies and mosquitoes in the hotel, which disturb the beach during the day and do not allow you to sleep peacefully at night. Our Reid has practically no effect on mosquitoes. They poisoned mosquitoes once a week (possibly out of economy) and that evening when a group of Russians 120 people drove through Israel.

Relatively weak menu for an Egyptian 5 * hotel: this was mentioned in previous reviews. We didn’t go hungry, but I would like more (I know from experience how it happens).

I repeat once again that our vacation took place in a very difficult period for Egypt: 5 days of our vacation on the beach there were 30 people vacationing. Of the hotel guests during the day - tourists from Ukraine, several foreigners, at night the hotel was replenished with transit tourists from Israel to Egypt, mostly Indians. On the weekends, small groups of Arabs came.
The hotel is perfect for a relaxing beach holiday or as a base for traveling to nearby attractions in four countries.

Have a good rest!

We went to Taba for the first time. The flight from Moscow to Sharm El Sheikh is standard four hours, then we were quickly assigned to a minibus and taken to the hotel. There were 10 of us in the minibus and a guide. We drove fast but stopped often. Tension arose with the toilet, stopped at a gas station, where there is a paid toilet, the cost is 1 pound. The toilet is normal, the payment is also symbolic, but we didn’t have any local money. Well, my wife had a euro lying around, gave it away, all the bus passengers went to the toilet, even those who did not want to. Guide Tez Tour on the road has already begun to sell excursions. We said that we would find our guide at the hotel and sort it out if we wanted. Tried to take orders on the bus anyway. This was seen for the first time.
We arrived at the hotel, we were settled very quickly, the rooms, as requested, were given almost nearby. All standards turned out to be without balconies and with a view of the border. The view from the eighth floor was very interesting: the border, the mountains on the left, the sea on the right and a view of Eilat and Aqaba. The rooms are tolerable, everything worked properly, the plumbing is new, the cleaning is daily at the level. The furniture and bed linen are old, the washed-out stains on the towels especially strained my wife. Otherwise, everything is as usual, for a dollar, swans and elephants from blankets and towels, sometimes petals on the bed.
The territory of the hotel is very well-groomed and green, this is a plus of the age of the hotel. There are not enough pools, especially considering the visiting Arabs for the holidays, and they preferred to soak in the pools, and not in the sea, it was difficult to swim in the pool. So we spent all our time at sea. The beach is small pebbles, sometimes sharp, going into the sea you need to look under your feet so as not to step on a sharp stone or coral. On the very first day, we bought ourselves special shoes at the hotel market. It was much more pleasant to go into the water in corals. In Sharm, we liked the sea more. In Taba, the coral is almost dead, there are few fish. But the most pleasant coolness, it became very hot by 12 noon and up to 14, then a pleasant 28-30 degrees.
The food suited us. Without any frills, most importantly, clean dishes, no stomach problems, friendly staff. So even the lack of meat did not seem like a tragedy to us. The meat dish was traditionally the same: either goulash, or tough as a sole, beef, sometimes there was a kofta (grilled sausage cutlets), seafood fried or baked fish fillet, a couple of times there were grilled crabs, well, usually chicken, and occasionally a turkey in the evening. It is difficult to recover in a hotel, but no one will go hungry. There were fruits, by the way, whole, only in the morning in the form of a salad, chopped. There were always dates and guava, also oranges, bananas, melons. Drinks at lunch and dinner were served by the waiter, so sometimes you had to wait.
Otherwise, the bars mixed traditional Egyptian strong drink cocktails, but we brought our own, we drank only beer or wine in the bars. Juices were from packages, by the way.
Animation during the day held sports events, but in the evening it was not possible to find them. We entertained ourselves. Traditionally, we went to Israel, as all Hilton tourists do. The choice of where you can buy a tour is small: from a guide (expensive), from local Arabic chats (somehow dumb), without prepayment via the Internet (also dumb, but you are dealing with your own). We settled on the last option, we were given an extra for seven. discount and the price came out purely symbolic $ 55. They took it from Red Sea Travel on the Internet. We went at the very beginning, on our return we kept the receipts for the visa fee (it turns out it costs as much as 30 dollars! ) And then once we got to Eilat to the oceanarium. Since there were a lot of us, we took a taxi, otherwise we would not have figured out the local transport. Two cars there and back cost us $40 (Israel turned out to be an expensive pleasure). When returning from the hotel to the airport of Sharm, they paid another $ 15 border tax with local money. We were warned about this by a Russian representative of a local agency where we took a tour to Israel.
As a result, we will return to the hotel again, but only if we want to visit friends in Israel or go to the Dead Sea just to swim (this option is also possible). The hotel is normal, solid European 4 or Egyptian five. The main thing is to have a good company, otherwise there is nothing to do in Taba.

The landscape is enchanting. The mountains ring around the Gulf of Aqaba, in the evening everything is in the lights around, plus its own mountain, at the foot of which the hotel stands, which additionally protects the southern beach from the wind. The three-story Nelson Bungalows are located along the south beach. But we were settled in the main building. Sea view room, I even sunbathed on the balcony. From the balcony you can clearly see the territory - a lot of greenery, space. In general, the Hilton is very compact, everything is at hand, you won't get lost. For older people who are not particularly interested in the sea, there is a wonderful pool, in the middle of which is a bar, and sun loungers, so you can sunbathe right on this island. Music always plays on the territory, young people play water volleyball, in general, everything is so alive. And one more feature of the Hilton - to the Israeli border - 200m, those who dream of an excursion to Jerusalem cannot find a better place. The rooms are clean, tidy, no complaints, the cleaning is timely, the swans were not twisted, but the order was - this is the main thing. They fed well, barbecued for dinner, there were always several types of meat and fish, they baked pita bread. There is no good sea in Taba, as in Naama Bay. But the corals are all side by side, very beautiful, though not enough. There is a pontoon. The beach is large, lots of sunbeds, there are always free ones. During the day there was animation in the form of aerobics and water gymnastics, belly dancing. In the evenings there is a disco, but we have never been, because we were not interested - we wanted a relaxing holiday. Excursions at the hotel are expensive, we took from the local company Taba Tour (www. tabatour. com), I really liked how they organized a trip to Israel - it was interesting, the guide was excellent, he told exciting about everything. In general, the holiday was definitely a success. And although there are many Russian tourists in the hotel, this does not interfere at all, the place is very good for a relaxing holiday.

Upon check-in, we were given a room with a sea view in the main building, everything was fine, a gorgeous view. Very beautiful area! There are places to walk. The only thing I didn’t really like was the pool, as it seemed too small for everyone! There is a market nearby, they sell a lot of everything, the main thing is to bargain! There is nothing to do outside the hotel. As for food and service, everything was on top! Every evening is a different theme. I really liked the beach !! ! There is a pontoon, or you can just go into the water, but only in special slippers, the beach strip is very wide, there is sand and corals. In general, I recommend the hotel to everyone, if you do not find fault with trifles, then the rest will be great.

(This is true - we were a group of 7 people and opinions are the same). We went on an excursion to Israel and Jordan through completely foreign companies, for which special thanks to them.
Everything else is excellent = and the kitchen, and the attention of the staff, and the cleaning of the rooms, towels on the beach, sun loungers, animators. Special thanks to Emma and her colleague for the animations in the pool, which brought both laughter and pleasure.
The variety and quality of food is much higher than in Sherm El Sheikh, not to mention the staff. I would like to thank the cleaning staff. After a trip to Israel and Jordan and returning to the room after 2 days, we were in for a very pleasant surprise. Our "house" made of towels, missing us, was hung on a hanger at the entrance to the room and made us laugh a lot, and the servant came at 12 o'clock at night to ask if everything was fine with us and if we needed anything, despite the fact that dinner was waiting for us in the room and drinks. .
The food is very varied, fresh and tasty. The wines are excellent. Ice cream, juices, drinks in unlimited quantities and served with attention and respect for vacationers. THANKS for everything to the hotel management and service staff (Especially).
The only tiring moment is the transfer from Sherm El Sheikh. It would be much nicer to fly into Taba. . . and not feel uncomfortable during the round trip.
The sea was amazing - reefs and fish are visible without any adaptations, water is not lower than +22, peace and quiet and God's Grace. Thank you for the rest and the pleasure received....and LOOKING FORWARD (and I really want to go there again !!!! )

We arrived at the Hilton, met us very friendly, while they were preparing our room, brought juices and politely asked us to wait a bit. Settled in a room overlooking the checkpoint, but you could see the sea and mountains. The room was cold. But after 2-3 days a clerk came up to us and asked if everything suits us, if there are any problems. We replied that everything is fine, only slippers would be, otherwise the floors are cold. And on the same day, we, absolutely free of charge, were moved to a room with a sea view (it is a plus that the sunny side is warmer in the room).
Food in Egypt is said to be so-so, but we liked everything at the Hilton. Everything is fresh, tasty, hot and cold. Someone says that the same type of food was not really different, even if potatoes, then one day it is spicy, stewed, then the next day, for example, mashed potatoes or baked like a village one. And if someone seems to eat the same type of food, it’s not necessary to eat potatoes with rice, salad, chicken and fish mixed every time, at home we don’t eat like that. Buffet, you make your own menu. We ate well every time. The waiters are very helpful, and they brought drinks without problems and cleaned the dishes in the same way, and they did not leave a tip. I liked the staff, they all say hello when they meet, ask how are you)
We swam in the heated pool, cool. No one swam in the large pool, but it was cleaned and the water was renewed every 3 days.
The beach is also good, the sun loungers are all intact, the beach towels were also normal . .
In general, we had a good impression of the Hilton, a quiet, calm hotel, there were few people. I'm surprised when I see bad reviews, maybe these people are just unlucky. We were in the winter, for the winter the service is good, maybe there are more tourists in the summer, they don’t have time to do something.

And by and large, we can confirm that, in view of the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel, it is worth relaxing in it, probably, only for this reason. In the beginning, we wanted to go to Movenpick, but it was not yet open before our arrival after a downpour and mudflow this spring. I had to go to the Hilton. Although Movenpick looked more attractive in the pictures. In the Hilton, we had a room on the 5th floor of the main building overlooking the pool. At the reception they offered to pay 15 dollars a day for a room with a sea view, but we refused. Our room was not new, the furniture too, the main thing is that everything worked, bed linen and towels were clean, even snow-white. The housekeeping was very good. The cleaner dusted and washed the floor every day, regularly changed the cosmetics in the bathroom. And most importantly, that he tried to do everything at a time when we were not in the room. Tourists on other floors were not so lucky. Compatriots complained that another cleaner woke them up by knocking on the door and trying to enter a closed room. The hotel area is quite spacious. The part called Nelson Village, of course, we liked more than the part with the main building, it was just buried in greenery. And the beach part of Nelson liked more, more spacious and clean. Entry into the sea is very comfortable, no slippers or other special shoes are needed. Up to this point, my review has been purely positive, but the huge minus of the hotel is the food service. There were no complaints at the reception and the cleaner at all. But in restaurants and bars. . . There were no problems with breakfast, the choice was good, delicious pastries, omelettes, scrambled eggs, everything your heart desires, even chicken and beef sausages could be eaten with pleasure. Also, there was always a cooler where you could drink water in unlimited quantities (a one and a half liter bottle was also brought to the room every day). For lunch, you could eat in the main restaurant and in Nelson (as for Egypt, there is very tasty pizza). But the coolers were no longer observed. For lunch and dinner, drinks are served by waiters, you can make tea and coffee yourself. Interrogating the waiter is a separate conversation. First you need to attract his attention with active gestures, then he will show with a gesture that he will do, then waiting, finally taking the order and then again waiting for the drink. Sometimes you can die of thirst. For dinner, you can choose and reserve the Nelson restaurant, where both food and service are better. The choice of dishes is rather meager, although there is plenty to choose from, but you have to choose the same thing, since everything else is simply tasteless. Now for the bars. We are an aged married couple, we drink very little alcohol, but 100 ml of beer is not the portion of the drink that should be served to a tourist. Plastic cups for beer and wine are designed for a maximum of 150 ml. To freshen up, you have to constantly go to a bar where they look at you like a deep drunkard. They tried to tip, but it turned out to be impossible to feed everyone, and those who once gave, are already waiting for the next portion of baksheesh. All this left an unpleasant imprint on our weekly vacation. . Therefore, you should come to the hotel only for the sake of being close to Israel, and especially taking into account the fact that after the first visit there is an opportunity to visit Eilat without restrictions. After reading reviews about Akhmed, they were going to buy from him, but then they came across an offer from redsea-travel on the Internet, where it was proposed to go not for 75-80, like with Akhmed, but for 70 dollars, and the employees there turned out to be Russians. We booked a tour on the Internet and went the next day upon arrival. Everything went just great. Wonderful guide Igor in Israel was very pleased. It was also funny that all the tourists from the Hilton, who went for 80 and 85, were with us in the group. I understand that in Taba the price tag is different for everyone, who can sell how. When we returned from Israel, we went to a Muslim holiday, Arabs came to the hotel and it became quite stuffy, dirty and loud. The staff barely had time to clean the area and change appliances in the restaurant. Against the backdrop of all this, I would like to recommend the hotel for a one-time visit for a trip to the Holy Land.

My husband and I traveled in early September for a week. We chose this hotel, like everyone else, to go to Israel, so the children were left in Tomsk with their grandmother. They, by the way, were also not bored in the village. Everyone writes about a long journey of 4 hours from the airport to Taba, but we generally drove almost 5. Well, at least they settled quickly, otherwise we were already pretty exhausted after all these gestures. The room was given on the third floor, in fact it is the sixth floor, because the first 3 are occupied by the reception, the restaurant and something else. We liked the room at first glance, and in the morning, when we were already rested and could soberly look at reality. Large clean room with great sea view, clean carpeting and bathroom. I liked it very much that immediately after check-in, various dishes were brought directly to the room, it’s a pity that they didn’t have the strength to taste them all. I had to give up half. It is also convenient that the room has a kettle and everything you need for a pleasant tea or coffee drink (sugar, tea, coffee, cream powder). We went with a Tez tour, but we decided not to take an excursion to Israel at home, but to save a little. In the morning, having met with the guide, we politely warned him that we did not want to go to Israel, but we ourselves sent an SMS to the votpuskegypt phone, with which we eventually went safely. We will return to Jerusalem more than once, we cannot do everything in one day. If we don’t go on our own, then again with the same company, because they did their job well. We liked the food. I remember delicious omelettes and scrambled eggs and their smiling creator. Delicious lunches and dinners: chicken, cutlets, fish, goulash, sausages, many sauces, even soups, salads and chopped vegetables and much more. Fruits: figs, apples, watermelon, grapefruits, grapes. I liked that the waiters brought drinks very quickly. Umnichki! Sea! ! It is something. The beach is sandy, but there are pebbles at the edge of the sea, and in the water too, but there are already large stones, so there is a chance to step on a hedgehog, stock up on coral slippers. There are a lot of fish. We met tourists who rest in this hotel not for the first time, so it's worth it. We weren't disappointed either.

The balcony offers stunning views right over Jordan. The room is decent, comfortable furniture, a safe, a bathroom with a set of gels, creams and shampoos. The room is cleaned well, clean towels are always brought. The beach is sandy, has a large length, so you can always find free places. There are bars on the beach. The service staff is quite correct, and even especially friendly. Entrance to the sea on a pontoon, there are a lot of corals near the beach. We were advised to buy special shoes for swimming, so as not to get hurt on the corals. There are many fish in the sea. . The sea is warm and pleasant, it is not cold to swim, despite the fact that the wind was always blowing. We ate at the main restaurant. You could choose between meat (beef or lamb), chicken and fish, combined with many side dishes. Everything is very fresh and tender. . From my point of view, the best is the fish, as if caught a few hours ago. The meat is also tender. Great variety of pastries and desserts. From fruits - melons, grapefruits, tangerines, bananas, guava, dates. Milk is real, delicious, the same can be said about vegetables, they are juicy, they taste, you will feel the difference compared to our vegetables from supermarkets. Coffee and tea are quite good. Drinks were taken at the bar, where you could also have a bite to eat. You can rent masks and snorkeling equipment at the hotel. We rented scuba gear and made several dives with an instructor. At first it was a little scary, but then the fear disappeared and we enjoyed watching the marine life. The hotel also has souvenir shops, where we bought beautiful postcards and beautiful magnets. There is nothing outside the hotel, only mountains and desert. Not far. There are several other hotels, but we did not go there, we spent all the time in the hotel. The hotel has everything you need, you can even go to the spa. In the evenings, cheerful animation and fun programs. We also went on excursions. . We purchased excursions from the local company SayfTour. We went on a motorcycle safari. It's very exciting. We got a lot of new impressions. We also visited Israel (Jerusalem, Dead Sea for 1 day). This is an amazing trip in which we saw many interesting places, learned a lot of new things, visited the Dead Sea. We spent an unforgettable and very interesting holiday.

Tell me this question ... If you are on the Sinai Peninsula and do not travel outside it, you can not buy an Egyptian visa at the a / port. But what about a trip on an excursion (tour) to Israel from Taba? It is clear that you need an Israeli visa. But what about the Egyptian visa, because in fact you leave Egypt (Sinai p / island). In this case, do I need to buy an Egyptian visa?
