A few days ago returned from Terramarina, tour operator Pegasus, Deluxe room. The general impression is that the hotel corresponds to 4 *, well, maybe it falls short (compared to the Holiday Inn 4 * in Helsinki).
The photos of the rooms on the Pegasus website are true, if you remove only the vases and folded towels (well, we didn’t have that). The room is rustic - but this is compensated by a large balcony with a table and chairs and a sea view (albeit a side one).
Cleaning in the room daily - swans and other creativity from towels were not observed, tips were left regularly. On the last day, the remote control from the TV set was stolen, for which we were not returned the deposit upon departure (10 euros). They don’t clean under the bed (I had to dive there for a fallen mobile phone). Safe - 3 euros / day + deposit 10 euros (returned upon departure). On TV - Russian channel 1 TV Planet with old series; ) - we watched episode 1 Taiga novel.

I didn’t manage to turn on the air conditioner - despite the assurances of the staff that everything was working and should be set to 21 degrees - in principle, the air conditioner was not needed, but I wanted to turn it on out of curiosity. Hooks in the room is really not enough.
The beach is right outside the doors of the dining room, the sand is clean, only last year's needles from the pine trees standing nearby are a little embarrassing. but lying on the sand they did not spoil. The declared free umbrellas were not found, but the rent of a sun lounger is 4 euros / day. I can’t say anything about the purity of the water, because. there was a lot of excitement all the time. The entrance to the sea is very shallow, in order to start swimming - you need to decently move away from the coast - as they explained, this is a feature of the Costa Dorada.
Aunts do not go to the beach with an offer of hot corn and baklava, instead of them - people from Africa with offers of branded glasses - "very good price". ; ) From beach activities - only music from the hotel bar. Well, or looking at the seaport, the loading of ships in which, if you try, you can see.
The promised animation in the evenings in the bar was found twice - for the first time, live music for pensioners from the hotel (by the way, there are many European pensioners in the hotel). The second time - on the last day, when a group of active French grandparents stopped by, who at 11 pm danced and sang on the terrace of the bar leading to the sea - and all this under the DJ girl from the bar.
By the way, there was almost always Russian-speaking staff both at the bar and at the reception - only in the restaurant there was one uncle who, although he did not know Russian, spoke good English - in general, there was no language barrier.

Meals - breakfasts are monotonous - but the choice is normal - scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, potato casserole, boiled and fried sausages, fried bacon, beans. Well, milk, muesli, cereals, yoghurts, hazelnuts, fruits (watermelon, melon, cherry, pineapple, apple, nectarine). In principle, they did not remain hungry, even if they came to the end of breakfast. At breakfast, drinks are free - it should be noted worthy coffee from the machine, but freshly squeezed juices (as I saw in one of the reviews) could not be found - what was offered from the machine - you can’t even call the juice from the pack - divorced zuko or invite. Dinner is varied and tasty.
In general, apart from juices and paid drinks at dinner, the food is excellent. Prices for wine and water - correspond to the prices of bars in Barcelona ; )
There is a place to eat around the hotel - the average bill with sangria is 20 euros per person, if you take Spanish cuisine. With entertainment, it’s a bit tight - La Pineda is still more of a village - you need to go to Salou for these things. Disco Pacha - a lot of advertising, in the end - an ordinary club in general. What we liked - we were given invitations to a disco on Saturday on the beach - as a result, when we approached the entrance and stood in an impressive line - a boy ran up to us and led us around the line and gave a check for a T-shirt and a free drink to choose from at the bar (and this not a bottle of cola - the girl in the bar honestly poured 100 tequila; )
Summing up - I liked the hotel, with the exception of the shortcomings outlined, which did not spoil the rest - with the exception of one - the hotel claimed free Wi-Fi, which did not work from the moment of arrival and departure. Would come back here again if you want a relaxing break.
