I think there is no special need to talk about the beauty of the Canary Islands. Anyone who has been there at least once will definitely want to return again. This is exactly what happened to us. Our entire campaign, and we were in Tenerife with 4 people, did not remain indifferent to this unique resort. I'll start with the Villa Cortes hotel itself, where we specifically stayed. The whole hotel is made in the old Spanish style. Everything from the rooms to the lobby is laced with chic colonial furnishings. Wonderful statues and pools with fountains and waterfalls. Almost all free places in the shade are filled with sofas. Thanks to the pleasant and polite staff, you feel like a duchess in such an environment! The rooms we had next door (junior suite). The rooms are spacious and clean, cleaning without pretensions, towels in any quantity. Spacious closet, orthopedic furniture, air conditioning and additional fan, comfortable bathroom with bathtub and shower. Everything worked, the windows closed, good soundproofing. We took the tour with breakfast and dinner. Breakfasts are delicious and nutritious. A standard set of omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, fruit, yogurt and salads. And the dinner was just amazing! Waiters silently rustled around, brought and took away dishes, poured wine or other drinks into glasses (by the way, all drinks, including water, are paid at dinner). They brought a menu and we chose our dishes from it. Portions are large and nicely presented. Everything is insanely delicious! Several types of meat, seafood, wonderful fish. But we couldn't get enough of the amazing lamb. This meat was just “something with something! ”, definitely try it !! ! The hotel does not have a beach, as such, there is a backwater. But there is a great sandy beach within walking distance. The cost of a sunbed on it is 5 euros, but we only swam and sunbathed at our hotel. In general, we didn’t swim on our beach so often, we traveled around the island in search of beautiful places and good restaurants. First, we visited the standard places visited by all. Santa Cruz de Tenerife (capital), Mount Teide, climbed around the pyramids of Guimar. Lots of impressions. But the most unforgettable place was the local restaurant El Cordero in Guargacho. It is located in the middle of a banana plantation, palm trees grow right in the middle of the hall, and bananas are in baskets and you can eat them as much as you like! Canaries are flying around! An appetizer will cost an average of 3-6 euros, and a steak from 6 euros, the most expensive of which is roast lamb (14 euros). A decanter with a liter of homemade wine costs only 7 euros. Fish vieja with mojo sauce is a national Canarian dish, the taste is impossible to describe! We will spend our holidays here in the autumn!
