Breakfasts are poor - sliced sausage, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers, jam and coffee, tea, hot dishes for breakfast are not prepared, i. e. porridge, no eggs. But if you come and dine in the hotel restaurant, they cook tasty and normal prices. It’s actually a bit far from the ski lift - 20 minutes up the hill, i. e. it’s better to go there on the shuttle bus, but the shuttle bus leaves the earliest at 09.00, and by this period there are already long queues for the lifts, so in order to climb the hill earlier, you need to get up early and go on foot or take a taxi (10 leva). The hotel has a sauna for free, the sauna is simple, but in the evenings it was nice. On New Year's Eve we paid for New Year's Eve dinner and it was very modest and meager. The staff at the reception does not know Russian, but speaks Bulgarian or English.

The hotel is located in the lowland of Bansko, almost on the outskirts. But since the town itself is small, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the center, and 20 minutes to the ski lifts. The hotel has a free shuttle bus that takes you to the ski lifts every hour. When we arrived the room was very cold. As it turned out, the hotel does not have central heating, the rooms were heated by heaters instead of a battery.

When we arrived the room was very cold. As it turned out, the hotel does not have central heating, the rooms were heated by heaters instead of a battery. When there are no guests, they do not heat. The first night we slept in tracksuits.
The rooms themselves are comfortable and large. The furniture is new. But really there is no refrigerator (minibar), a shower room with a plastic tray and a curtain, there was no liquid soap) But there were 3 towels and bathrobes each.
The hotel has a free sauna and Wi-Fi, which even worked in the rooms!
Breakfast was a buffet, very poor! Every day on the table there were: cucumbers, tomatoes, hard cheese, cheese, sausages, sausage of the 1st kind, fried and boiled eggs, donuts and jam. From fruits tangerines and apples. From drinks: tea, coffee and juices "Yupi" : )
In principle, the hotel justified its money, because. Holidays in Bulgaria are really very cheap!

One of the worst hotels in Bansko - Hermes. He really pulls on 2 ** and no more. The project, the materials used in the construction, the furniture - everything looks very cheap. It's just a shame to sell a hotel like 4****! For example, let's start with the input: Not paved and not illuminated entrance to the hotel.

One of the worst hotels in Bansko - Hermes. He really pulls on 2 ** and no more. The project, the materials used in the construction, the furniture - everything looks very cheap. It's just a shame to sell a hotel like 4****!
For example, let's start with the input:
Not paved and not illuminated entrance to the hotel. In order to get out into the city, you need to walk along the construction site for about 10 minutes. At night, we walked with the help of flashlights.
Receptionist:
Absolutely unaware administrators! First of all, they answered the question asked: “I don’t know”... I don’t know if the hotel has Internet, I don’t know if there will be a transfer today, I don’t know how much dinner at the hotel is, I don’t know if it’s possible drink your liquor in the lobby. . .
The absence of a uniform makes it impossible to understand who is in front of you - a waiter or a driver. During our stay, we did not understand what half of the people who were near the reception were doing.
The elevator is out of service, as we were told, due to the fact that it was not put into operation.
The stairs, which had to be climbed and descended, looked terrifying during the day: there were footprints on the walls (the number of which increased during the week of stay), sand and dirt on the floor.
Rooms:
There is no refrigerator and safe (among other things, there was no safe even at the reception, you had to take all the money with you)
Instead of a bathtub and a shower cabin, there is a pallet, the most natural plastic pallet, similar to the type in Soviet dorms. There are no curtains. 1 minute after taking a shower, the water in the pan filled up to the ankle and poured onto the floor...
Tiles with poorly worn seams, everything was very bad in the combined bathroom. The only achievement of technology was an electric soap dish with liquid soap, you raise your hand - the mechanism buzzes and the soap drips. Moreover, it was impossible to wave your hands near the sink, if you wave recklessly - soap cap. It was used up in three days. The new one was no longer poured.
The most unpleasant thing in the room was the unputty floor and the bedside tables dusty from the inside.
Only crumpled towels were changed during the entire stay. Bed never (as far as I know, in four stars the bed is changed at least every other day). There was rubbish on the floor after cleaning.
Additional benefits:
No swimming pool or sauna. They did not have time to build. Rather, according to them, the sauna functioned, but there were no doors in it !!!
There were 4 chairs in the rest room and nothing else.
Restaurant / breakfasts:
Every day for breakfast we got: 1 type of sausage, 1 type of cheese, 2 types of jam, sometimes processed cheese, 3 types of scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, muesli, fruits, sausages and bacon. In addition, one type of juice (only apple) offered by the package, tea and low-grade coffee (similar to the taste of pomace).
I would like to add that the restaurant is located in the basement, it seems that they did not have time to complete the normal entrance to it, and now they are forced to let people in through the staff corridor...
The shuttle to the gondola lift took and brought residents at 9.00, 9.30, 10.00 am and 16.00, 16.30 and 17.00 pm. . .
which means that if you want to leave the mountain earlier, or arrive later, take a taxi. They didn't want to take us to Hermes for less than 10 leva.
While transfers in other hotels every half hour went from the lift to the hotel and back.
The hotel staff does not want to say anything, as well as its owners. I would like to say our tour. agencies: before you soar the hotel to people - go and see for yourself what you are selling !!!
80% of vacationers were going to fill their faces with their tour upon arrival. managers.
We were not too lazy and explored several 4 **** hotels, approximately in the same price category - Hermes (Hermes) - full of... !
