A woman was sitting at the reception just a two-faced rat, because when she needs something, she understands everything, and when we ask for something, she pretends that she doesn’t understand anything. my husband and I arrived as newlyweds on August 6 there was a wedding and we flew there on our honeymoon, the voucher had a note in English that we were newlyweds, not only did the hotel not make any discounts, surprises, or even a small gift in honor of the wedding, as it happens usually in other hotels this is of course a minus for the hotel, so they offered us a nightmarish room with two separate single beds that can’t even be moved because the mattress is smaller than the bed frame and there would still be a hole in the middle. We said that we are newlyweds and we need a room with one double bed. But for such a room, we were asked to pay 21 euros for 7 days, that is, 3 euros per day. It was useless to argue and for us to just sleep together we had to pay them for a room with 1 bed 21 euros. After we were given the rules of the hotel, where it was indicated that the iron and hair dryer are provided free of charge and are issued at the reception, when we asked for a hair dryer, we were told that it was paid 10 euros, I started showing this piece of paper and speaking in English that it says free of charge, this woman with an arrogant face the bitch began to pretend and say that she does not understand me and what is written she does not understand and repeated the price of 10 euros. We didn't take anything and left. air conditioning in the rooms for a fee of 5 euros per day. In general, if you do not take into account the nasty aunt at the reception and the attitude towards Russians, the hotel is good, the rooms are always cleaned every other day, everything is always clean, the kitchen is good, they fed very tasty a lot of different dishes, meat, fish, and so on, always ice cream desserts. on the territory of normal swimming pools bar free until floor 11 in the bar free beer, white red wine, aniseed vodka, crayfish - local moonshine and cognac. the rest is paid, after half 11 everything is already paid. The beaches are small pebbles and very small pebbles similar to coarse sand, the entrance to the sea is rocky, the beaches are very small in width, almost all are filled with chauffeurs, they are all paid the cheapest 5 euros a day. The sea is very good, even at a depth of about 10-15 meters, or maybe more, you swim and see the bottom. The island is very beautiful around the mountains, there are a lot of interesting excursions / The prices are of course a little expensive there, along the coast there are a lot of clubs, bars and cafes that you can go to in the evening or just walk past them. In general, if the hotel only needs to spend the night and eat without paying attention to the antics of the staff, it is quite suitable. Rest on Crete I advise))

Rested in July 2013, two adults and a child. Normal triple hotel. Normal triple hotel.
Knowing that the one-room suites are small, they took an apartment: two rooms, however, separated not by a full-fledged door, but by an accordion door. One of the rooms is connected to the kitchen. Actually, they were not going to cook, but a full-fledged table allows you to just drink coffee, creates comfort in the room. You can sit on the balcony, there are two in the room. There are table-chairs on the balcony, which is very convenient, considering that the view from the two-room rooms is on the olive grove. Regular rooms have windows to the interior. The difference in price is small, but for three, it is better to take a larger room.
Room cleaning - every other day. Quite satisfied.
Nutrition. Delicious but no variety. Moussaki there, gourmet desserts, sea fruits are not offered. Watermelons are sometimes diluted with melons. But ice cream is for you both for lunch and dinner.
The bar is small, it’s not realistic to sit down in the evening, with sunbeds by the pool the same story.
In our case, this did not matter: we rented a car, organized excursions ourselves. By the way, it turned out cheaper than taking from a tour operator. The car was taken to "Auto Travel", with "golden" insurance (without franchise) - 35 € / day Toyota Yaris.
Actually, they were not disappointed, they got what they counted on.
The disadvantages include the evening hours of the restaurant: from 19:00 to 20:30. Directly in a soldier's way: took food, give the opportunity to a friend. For this reason, it is not comfortable in the evening - a constant crowd.
By 20:00 people resolve, but 30 minutes. for dinner somehow not ice.
You can easily have breakfast from 8:00 to 10:30.
Summary. If food is a priority and you plan to stay mostly in a hotel, consider another option. For this reason - four points.

Really located on a small hill. They settled in immediately without any problems. The STUDIO room was very spartan, but everything in the room worked and was in order. The bed is clean and without any flaws. The towels are tired and quite strong. What impressed me the most was the height of the ceiling in the bathroom. People with height over 175cm. it will be quite problematic to take a shower. Food for 3 * is pretty decent, there is always meat and fish, a lot of vegetables and herbs. You can make an interesting salad with the help of various delicious sauces. Ice cream for lunch and dinner, eat as much as you want. In the dining room you need to clean up after yourself. Alcohol of local production is quite decent. To a good beach go 40-45 minutes, or by taxi 5-7 Euro. The closest beach did not like it at all to walk 10 minutes. In general, the rest was very pleasant. All minor shortcomings are compensated by the sea, air and travel around the island!

Here are the hands to leave your review about the rest on about. Crete specifically in the Porto Village 3 * hotel, oddly enough, there are very few websites that have information about this hotel, so I decided to write my review on my return. The hotel corresponds to the 3 * category, the tour evaluates it as 3+, I understand the dance for the territory, the hotel with simple rooms, the food is not bad enough for a 3 *, and the staff is quite friendly, I take care of the territory, they cut something all the time, watered, apparently in Greece without it, the beach at the hotel is super, of course, it’s still Herssonisos, and there are good sandy beaches and a lot of all kinds of entertainment, it takes 10-15 minutes to go to the beach, it’s normal to go there, it’s hard to get back, the hotel is on a hill and back it turns out to go uphill, it will probably be difficult with children, but for young people it’s just that we just needed a party, everything suited us. … More ▾ Here are the hands to leave your review about the rest on about. We liked everything, once again I am convinced that you need to choose hotels adequately, according to the cost, if you save money, then do not expect VIP service, for young people and people who are going to travel on their own, the hotel is 100% suitable! Hello everyone, write if anything, there will be time to answer.

We loved to gather in the evening on a cozy balcony and drink local wine. Rooms are cleaned and linen and towels are changed every third day. The staff is mostly young people, very friendly and smiling. In the kitchen, I can say this - they cook quite deliciously, but it was a couple of times that there was nothing special to eat from what they cooked - there was nothing (but we did the following, there were always delicious dumplings, jams for lunch, breakfast and dinner, fruits, etc. , we collected, brought to the room and left in the refrigerator, there is also a supermarket nearby, everything is fine with the assortment) As for the location of the hotel. The hotel is about 1 km, to the nearest exit to the sea, the beach is pebbly. It's nice to go there. because through the city and on the way you can look into a local shop, buy souvenirs, treat yourself. Regarding how to spend the evening there, there are a lot of options. . For example, in a hotel, in a pool bar where all the hotel residents gather in the evening and spend the evening with a glass of local alcohol or gather and sit in a cozy restaurant on the waterfront, and then, if you want, there are a large number of nightclubs of your choice, branded and just local. I like the phrase that "Greece has everything" there is even a "Shooters" club))) If you go through the cons, there are very few of them - it's a heavily chlorinated pool, not always edible food, and, probably, there is very little interesting for children, except for the children's pool, perhaps everything. In any case, you must objectively evaluate where you are going and for what money. Porto Village is not 5 *, it is not chic and pathos. Porto Village is an excellent 3* hotel of a good standard. Have a great vacation. If there are questions - write.

Recently returned from a trip to Crete and decided to write a review on the hotel where we rested. When choosing a hotel, the main criteria were price-quality. The manager offered a choice of 3 hotels and after reading the comments for a long time, the choice fell on Porto Village. Looking ahead, I will immediately say that we did not regret choosing this particular hotel. Many thanks to the manager Albina and the operator Tez Tour.
The hotel is very pleasant, the territory is well-groomed, the rooms are clean, not smoky. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, all the necessary infrastructure is within walking distance. To the sea on foot for 10-12 minutes, which allowed us to work up an appetite before dinner. Special thanks to the staff, very polite and helpful. Meals are modest, but quite complete, there was always meat and fruit.
The only thing that upset us a little was the paid air conditioner, but they put up with these quite quickly, because. were practically not in the room.
