Corsica - Isle of Beauty
When you get to Corsica, you immediately fall in love with this place.
The wonderful nature of the island, the mildness of the climate and the ardor of its inhabitants are striking, the diversity of nature is impressive. The scenery is gorgeous, wonderful and it really is a green island. The green color of the mountains is perfectly combined with the azure color of the sea and the blue sky. It seems that the mountains covered with clouds are plunging into the sea. The Mediterranean Sea impresses with its purity and beautiful azure-sky color. And the golden color of the sand on the beaches and the white color of the clouds complement the color palette of Corsica. It is thanks to nature that Corsica is called the "Island of Beauty", whose beauty is truly undeniable.
It is impossible not to notice the love of the Corsicans for their emblem (the head of a Moor with a bandage on his head). It can be seen everywhere: in shop windows, on souvenirs, on vehicles and ships. The Corsican Moor is depicted on the flag with a white armband, which is a symbol of the independence of the island. After all, it was in Corsica, on this wild and proud island, throughout history, that the inhabitants fought for independence and freedom. In September 2011, we traveled around Corsica on the Artex and Geopolis tour “Island Instinct”. Corsica can be called the most exotic place in Europe, rarely visited by our tourists, the island is worth it to visit.
