The hotel is new, everything is clean and quiet. Cleaning on time. I only had breakfast, no complaints about it - hearty, tasty, Georgian)) There were no problems with food at all, a lot of cafes, restaurants with Georgian and any other world cuisine for different tastes.
I would not say that it is close to the beach, but not far. After all, Batumi is not a Turkish all-inclusive and sinister indoor beach.
As for 3 *, I highly recommend going. Take a walk around the city, walk to the beach, take a tour. Everything is fine!
