My husband and I stayed at this hotel in July 2011. The hotel has two types of rooms: standard (breakfast included) and studio (without meals). The hotel is small, consists of 2-3 storey buildings, located a step away from each other. There is practically no territory. The pool is small, more suitable for children. It is written that there are evening entertainment, but we did not see them. . The room has two beds, a TV, a small refrigerator. In summer, free air conditioning. We were first placed on the ground floor. It's kind of like a basement. Dampness, wet sheets, balcony overlooking the courtyard. Apparently, somewhere there is a sewer, because there was a smell. Near the kitchen, you can hear the clatter of dishes. In general, on the first day we were in shock and there was a desire to leave from there. But the next day we spoke with the Victoria hotel manager. She turned out to be a friendly and helpful young woman, listened to our complaints and promised to move to another room. Three days later we were moved to the third floor. It was much drier there and the windows overlooked the street. In principle, we needed a room just to spend the night. But, of course, not the basement! All staff, including the night watchman, speak Russian. Everyone is friendly and smiling. The rooms are clean, cleaned well and always in our absence. Towels were changed regularly. The shower is small, drain hole in the floor. All plumbing worked well. There is a supermarket next to the hotel across the street. There is everything: from groceries to a toothbrush. Opposite the hotel is the doctor's office. You can always get help with fears. policy. Walk to the sea for about 15 minutes. The beach is urban, dirty. Almost no one took paid sunbeds. In the supermarket, we bought mats for 2 euros and lay on them. We have already written about the food at the hotel, I will not repeat it. The village of Hanioti is small: the central square, and several streets depart from it with "rays". The houses are mostly two-story. On the ground floor there is either a cafe or a shop, and the owners live on the second floor (like our old merchant houses). Full of cafes and shops selling consumer goods. By the way, there are no cheap fur coats. Prices for fur coats from 2 thousand euros. The "salons" are empty, there are no buyers. I really liked the Greek cuisine and hospitality. If you ate in a cafe once, the next day you will be recognized and greeted there. "Fish plate" is in almost every cafe. It costs 25 euros. One is enough for two. All excursions were from the company Mouzenidis. I really liked the two-day trip: Meteora-Corfu. On the way to the beach, you can buy olives from the stalls (they are large there, like plums), cherries, peaches. In the store, the olives in Vaakum are much worse. In the center of the village there is a wonderful souvenir shop: wine, coffee, halva, you can try everything. Good cosmetics on olive oil. If you want to bring home, then it is better to buy olive oil and alcohol in duty free. After evening walks around the center of the village, it was always a pleasure to return to our quiet street, to the hotel. We enjoyed our holiday, we visited a lot of places in two weeks. A lot of impressions and photos. We wish you a pleasant stay too!
