What a pity that winter goes on for so long. I bought a fur coat a month ago, and wore it only a couple of times. Somehow this year the weather does not stick at all. I want snow, but so far only rain. Okay, maybe there will be. I went a month ago to Greece to the city of Kastoria, where the famous fur coats are sewn. To be honest, I was under the impression the first 2 weeks after this tour. I took it immediately with an obligation. I paid only 1 euro, but I brought home a gorgeous mink for 2500. In general, to make it clearer, there are tours with and without obligation. If you are going, like me, with an obligation, then you practically don’t need to pay anything for the tour, but you have to buy a fur coat. Otherwise, you will have to pay a fine of about 600 euros, sort of. In general, I thought that it would be more convenient for me not to pay anything for the tour, because I still wanted to buy a fur coat. We arrived in Kastoria at the Jesperos Palace 4 * hotel. Excellent hotel. Everything is clean. The breakfasts are good. But I will not praise. I think reviews about the hotel will be more convenient to read. On the first day we went to the factories and Edika (shopping center). There are a lot of factories in general, but many thanks to our guide Larisa, that she told everything in such detail how to choose these fur coats. It turns out that each product must have a special code or patch. I bought a fur coat at the Glaes factory. They gave me a cool bag with an anti-moth case. They also served champagne. Very good. The owner even met us there. His name is Yorgos. A very nice man. He himself walked and suggested to whom it was better to offer. I was surprised by the attention, to be honest. His daughter, Dina, also works there. I personally really liked the very room where the fur coats hang. Very light. All in such beige tones. Well thought out. Yes, I advise everyone not to buy a fur coat right away. The Greeks like to bargain, as I understand it. The prices are not there. You need to ask everything, but, in principle, a fur coat to the knee can be bought somewhere for 1200. I think it's not such a big price considering the quality. Of course, everything depends on the fur. I personally really like fox fur coats. They are inexpensive compared to mink, of course. Vests so generally hang for 600. Very beautiful. But my husband said don't come back without a mink. So I didn't really appreciate it. There are also many shops in Edik. Some models are even cheaper there. But going around all the halls is almost impossible, it seems to me. By the way, the food there is delicious. We had lunch there. 3 days just flew by. I really want to go back. But the coat is already there. I hope we will go in the summer just to relax in Greece.
