We spent our vacation in the summer at the Ocean Hotel, near Olympus. The hotel was chosen for a short time, but stopped there. Family hotel, hospitable, helpful people. Good service. They were delighted with the food, the hotel has its own tavern, so during the day there was no need to go anywhere from the hotel. Always fresh seafood. The hotel area is small, but cozy enough and equipped with its own beach. I always choose a hotel near the beach, so here it is.... you leave the hotel, a few steps and you are in the sea.... In the evening we walked around the village where the hotel is located, it is called Paralia Panteleimon. The village is small, with small shops and shops. We rode on a train that goes to the neighboring village of Platamonas, after seven o'clock in the evening it starts its route, the price per person is 3 euros there and back. The sea in this region has a wide coastline, fine sand and the entrance to the sea is sand, but with pebbles. We rested on our last vacation in Halkidiki, there were many impressions, but due to old age and remoteness from the main attractions, we did not go on many excursions. For this purpose, in order to still visit Meteora and Olympus, they chose this region and were not mistaken. More in love with this country. Now seriously thinking about buying property in Greece.
