We rested for a week in Crete in October 2009, not for the first time. What can I say... great. For a week we traveled the entire western part of the island - Remimno, Chania Matala, Balos Bay, Elafonisi, mountain ranges and gorges. if you have the opportunity to rent a car - go ahead !!!! You will not regret. Crete is simply unforgettable.
