I vacationed with children in Greece, at the Bomo Rethymno beach hotel. Small, cozy hotel on the shores of the Aegean Sea.
It is located on the first coastline, it takes about an hour and a half to drive from the airport, and 11 km to the nearest city - Rethymno, you can take a taxi in 10 minutes.
The rooms are small, but they have everything you need: air conditioning, mini bar is free, towels are changed every three days, safe is free.
The food is excellent, there are fruits at all meals, everything is always fresh, several types of meat, seafood (mussels, octopuses), fish, many types of salad. Personally, I like sweets, I have never eaten such delicious ones anywhere.
I don’t drink alcohol, so I can’t appreciate all the charms of the all-inclusive, but they make high-quality coffee, I recommend trying Freddo coffee.
The beach is sandy, but the entry into the sea is stone. Need aquashoes to swim. The beach is not the best, to be honest, but sunbeds and umbrellas are free here, it pleases.

The kids love the animation. At lunch, there is always water aerobics, in the evening there is a mini disco, and face painting is done for children.
The staff is kind and helpful, though you need to know English, since almost all the staff speak English.
Of the excursions, we managed to go to the confluence of three seas, to Balos Bay, an interesting excursion, a little tiring. Children bathed, saw pink sand.
We also visited the Cretan evening, learned how to dance Greek dances.
The rest passed unnoticed, the weather pleased us every day. Greece is a beautiful, hospitable country. I want to come back here again and again.
