The beach is rocky and sandy, but in water slippers it's great. If you walk 500 meters, you can walk to the municipal sandy beach with free sunbeds and a sandy entrance to the sea.

Nice pool and sunbeds. There are no beach towels.
The room was quite clean, although the furniture is old. According to other tourists, large cockroaches came across in the rooms, but my husband and I were lucky and we did not see them. They were saved from mosquitoes with fumigators. Breakfast is pretty monotonous: scrambled eggs, vegetables, side dishes, seasonal fruits, coffee, tea. But you can get enough, besides, there are shops nearby.
Of the most unpleasant moments, the fact that, with an empty (! ) Hotel on the last day, the hostess did not allow us to stay in the room until the transfer, which was already at 21.00. Neither us nor the neighbors with 3 children... She demanded 20 euros for overstage and of course she didn’t care about them. I had to leave my things and go for a walk. Of course, this is her right. But after that, I don't want to go back there.

Chose a tour quickly, bribed the price. We are in Greece for the second time, we were on the mainland, we wanted to see island Greece. The check-in was at night, the room was prepared. Large studio room with kitchenette. Appliances and utensils were necessary. The electric stove worked, the hood did not.

The bathroom is small, water collects at the door, and the door is swollen. There was a tiny soap, there was toilet paper. In the bathroom, the window was opened for ventilation.
The room itself is on the second floor, number 9. Exit to the balcony and sea view, there were chairs and a table on the balcony, there was a rope.
The sea is rocky, you need to swim where the entrance to the beach is near the supermarket (a shower is equipped there - this is a plus).

Breakfast composition: There were plates on the counter (fried or boiled egg, toast (two pieces of bread with a piece of cheese and sausage), 2 slices of tomato and a thin piece of pepper, sometimes there was a cookie, sometimes a cracker, once a waffle) On the table were - beans, stewed eggplant, once sausages, and saw potatoes. Poured instant coffee! ! ! and packaged juice.
For 6 days - 1 cleaning (they wiped the floor and put paper).
The guys who lived for 2 weeks said that in 12 days the bedding had never been changed.
BEWARE - angry mosquitoes!! ! ! ! No mosquito nets...
Tip - it's better to rent a car and go to Elafonisi, Balos, the lake, and if there is time for the city ...

In the room we had: two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom with a toilet, a balcony-terrace with access to the pool and the sea. The hotel is located on the beach, for two stars - it's super. The beach is wild, sand and pebble. You can enter the shallow sea only in water slippers or crocs to be comfortable. Near the hotel there is a shop at the Almira hotel, if you are too lazy to walk further than 350 meters, you can order vegetables and fruits here in the morning, by 14.00 your order will be brought to this store. It’s better to cook on your own, you can skip breakfast, you won’t be tied to a schedule: sleep as much as you want, go to the beach when you want, go on excursions. You can rent a car on the spot and travel around the island yourself, we took it from Kalamaki Travel - we liked it. To the right of the hotel there is 100 meters away: ATM - withdraw money from the card, a tavern with live music and delicious cuisine. To the left, through the underpass, and to the left and up right away, past the ice cream van, further to the right - there is a wonderful confectionery (everything is very tasty), a little further a small supermarket, the prices are normal. For example, a pack of six 1.5 liter bottles of water costs 1.5 euros; delicious sausages (6 pieces) - 1.8 euros; tomatoes - 1.5 euros. Excursions are expensive (55-65 euros per person), but they are worth it. Impressions from the island of Crete are wonderful. Cons (not dependent on the hotel): mosquitoes bite and cicadas crackle in unison. Buy more mosquito fumigators at home (three pieces) and it will be easier for you to endure their presence. Good hotel, hospitable Greek family, sunny Crete made our holiday unforgettable. I would like to return to Greece once again and longer, and take a closer look at everything. Come, you won't regret it!
