We stayed for 2 weeks with our 16 year old daughter. When choosing, I read all the reviews I found before choosing a place and a hotel. The main thing was the proximity of the windsurf stations and the corresponding public. We were surprised by the large number of families with children and the elderly. The sea is really stormy, pebbles - my legs still hurt. For 1.5 days there was a storm with such a wind. I even took pictures of overturned sunbeds, fallen umbrellas and torn flags. They asked our compatriots, ladies of pre-retirement age, according to what criteria they chose, didn’t they really read the reviews on the Internet, they didn’t read it, it turns out. It was surprising that 96% of people, including parents with children, appeared in the sun somewhere after breakfast and soared in the sun all day. We tried before breakfast and after 4 pm. The sunny day is long - until 19 o'clock you can definitely sunbathe and swim
even up to 20 hours. Windsurf stations are therefore open until 19:00 (in Egypt until 17:00). If the cool breeze does not drive away, of course, what happened with my daughter. I bought 10 days of surfing. Minus compared to Dahab, Egypt. the station was the price and inflexibility of renting equipment. And prepayment. The guides knocked out a permit for one day pass. And that's all. Out of 10 days I skated 7.5. For 1.5 days there was a very strong wind with a strong current and a storm. Only professionals were allowed to go to sea. Dangerously. One day was without wind. i. e. you pay for the rental of equipment even on days when you do not use it. And the rental price is 2 times higher than in Dahab.
I was pleased with the instructor - Tsvetan. 7 or 9 years at the station. Russian-speaking, pro, not greedy, unobtrusive, responsive - what else is needed. From Bulgaria. Who will learn from him, hello to him from Svetlana. There were also Russian speakers at other stations. Mike is from Lithuania. 400 meters from Blue. Kitestation - far away - half an hour on foot.

Of the advantages of the hotel - green area, the presence of bungalows. Neighboring hotels seemed not so cozy and without bungalows. Sunshine entertained his allom and animators. We talked with lovely girls from there, who did not "dry out" and dreamed of getting to the sea in the morning and sunbathing at last. There were no such green lawns for lying, stretching, exercising, taking a nap. And there were no bungalows. Animation is really great. From morning to evening they agitate, entertain. No need to strain and figure out what to do with yourself. In Blue, too, there were animators, good, humorous, unobtrusive, and there were only 2 of them from Poland, a boy and a girl. The hotel obviously saves on service personnel. It was a pity and torn apart by the waiters. We were friends - as before. review with Christos and Tatyana. They work in pairs. Whoever sees them - hello to them from Svetlana and Vasilisa. They are wonderful in communication and in relation to visitors and pros.
In the evening-night bar, there is also a wonderful bartender. Friendly, Cultural. He told how he was exhausted and lost 6 kg in 1.5 months. Lots of work, few staff. The service is good though. From food. Meat Greeks prepare well. And vegetables. But fish, seafood, potatoes, casseroles and lasagna, alas. Of the "fruits" really only watermelon or melon for breakfast and dinner. And oranges for breakfast. But it didn't bother us.
From excursions, we went to the sightseeing tour of Rhodes for the whole day. Liked. Except that they forgot to include us in the list. We called the charming representative of the Beleon tour. An hour later, they began to catch up with the tour bus. By guide's car. She made a mistake - she corrected herself. Caught up in the first city-sights.
We went to Rhodes. Twice. You can go there and go and everything will be small. Lots of interesting things preserved.
I was surprised by the lack of Wi-Fi habits in Egypt. Like Europe. On the third attempt, we found a cafe with Wi-Fi working standards. In all others, he worked occasionally.
At the hotel 2.5 euros for half an hour or 50 euros for a week.
+ mosquitoes tormented in the evenings in the same cafes or if the balcony is opened.
Planes do fly, often and low. Cool. Sometimes it was difficult to sleep. Happy if.

Everywhere in the hotel and in the cafe, good music plays on the streets. Of the minuses. They don't dance to it anywhere. Only from about 1.30 in Bo and Pool bar. Or in the city. a bunch of open and indoor discos. The best Colorado. It was, I can confirm. street-place "Bar Street". You walk along it. in a row from two sides are disco cafes. Everyone is dancing right on the street flowing inside. Good music sounds everywhere. and also at night, from one o'clock. Amazing picture. We went to Filirak. to the same Bar Street and to the coolest bar "Liquid". Not at all. Did not like. Rhodes is better. In Liquida, she caught a cold from a powerful improperly installed air conditioner. Again, a competent layout of premises in Colorado with a place to dance, competent air conditioning. Good Music. And the presence of live music, performers of hits of all times and peoples. In general, Colorado is yes!
Recommended for surfers. And the hotel. and the rest itself on the western, windy coast of Rhodes, on the Aegean Sea. Not for kiters and not for surfers, it is better to go to the east coast, the Mediterranean Sea.
