Rested with my husband at the Aeria Hotel in the southern part of the island of Thassos. I must say right away that the hotel has a rocky beach, so keep in mind, but I’ll immediately note a plus - it’s a free shuttle to a good sandy beach. We took a sightseeing tour of the island, saw all the most interesting things, made our impression, then took a car and drove ourselves.
The rooms are spacious, good, the condition of the room itself, as well as plumbing and household appliances is excellent, everything worked, there were no complaints. Very nice and friendly girls work at the reception, the staff can be given a five! By the way, there are very few Russians on the island, so knowledge of English is a must. The food at the hotel is good, there was different types of meat, fish, seafood was sometimes given, various desserts, we especially liked oriental sweets, we ate something similar in Turkey, but in Greece we liked them much more, there were all kinds of side dishes, casseroles, fruits, mousses . In general, it’s not that you won’t stay hungry, no matter how you have to waddle up from the table, but how the plane lifted you home)))
The hotel has a small territory, so you can walk only in the nearby village of Potos, you won’t get there on foot, rent a car or take a taxi. Personally, we visited the archaeological museum, the convent of the Archangel Michael, visited the Eye of Zeus lagoon and Golden Beach.
