At first glance, everything here is very good - a sandy beach, a swimming pool (sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool are free of charge), green areas. Rachoni Bay Hotel is located on the first line by the sea. As "tourists" we were shown the best rooms: new furniture, neat bathrooms, a small kitchenette (sink, refrigerator and microwave) in a "family" category room. But the cracked wall in the dining room, the only working wall lamp in the room, the persistent smell of mold in the hall and the air conditioner, which is centrally turned off for a couple of hours every day at lunch, make us wary: “Something can go wrong here. ”
In terms of infrastructure: in the village of Skala Rakhoni there are several taverns and two markets. There is a supermarket near the hotel. In order to unwind a little and explore the island, there is nothing better than renting a car from the reception.
