Hotel "Dalmacija" really belongs to good, average hotels. Everything you need is there. I didn’t see anywhere in the descriptions that there is a hair dryer in the room, I dragged my own... But he (the hair dryer) is still there)))
Food: We only had breakfast and we are very happy about it, because. tried different types of pizza, fish, lasagna etc. in local restaurants, so lunches and dinners were varied and interesting outside the hotel. So, the breakfasts were decent and tasty. Especially liked: crispy fresh bread of different types, different pastries, cakes, "finger" sausages, different types of cheese, including fried in batter. We ate, to be honest. But! Were seen sometimes dishes "yesterday", reheated and decorated with some tomatoes and cheese on top.
Housekeeping: nothing special, but I didn't understand their rules. Towels were changed every day, sometimes every other day. Vacuumed in the room, too, through time.

Staff: not strained, as, for example, in Turkey. Friendly, neutral, tipping is not necessary.
What obviously did not like it: it turned out that in September the influx of pensioners from all over Europe begins. And the hotel at the time of our vacation was full of old people from Germany, England, Sweden, etc... Honestly, it was not very pleasant. Because during breakfast it felt like we were eating in a nursing home. And in the evenings, they were given discos by the pool with the appropriate music (we had a balcony on this side). Those. in general, in September there were a lot of European pensioners in Makarska, more than young people and children. But it seemed that all the old people were gathered to the maximum in Dalmatia.
I recommend to everyone who will rest in Makarska to take an excursion to Mount Biokovo (by minibus with a guide and an experienced "mountain" driver, this tour is definitely available from the IBCI tour operator). Impressions and emotions go off scale, especially at the top of St. Yure 1762 m! And also: be sure to visit the island of Brach (Bol - wonderful beaches and the sea is warmer there), in Split and Trogir.
